Jesus is the Light of the World

John 8:12 the One New Man Bible Translation, in this translation Y’shua is the Hebrew name of Jesus.

So Y’shua spoke to them again saying, “I am the Light of the world: the one who follows Me could not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

When I was a very young adolescent, I wanted so badly to understand what everybody was talking about when they would refer to Jesus as the Light. So I would beg God for an answer. We may think God has funny ways of teaching us, but He doesn’t miss His target for those who are really seeking. I was in church one day and I was listening to a sermon. I can’t recall what the sermon was about, but ‘light dawned’ I understood the message and by doing that God revealed how Jesus is the Light. Jesus being the Light of the world, can be explained many different ways and it all be true. The Bible is so deep we can read a verse, and get something new out of it many times over. If we are very one with His Spirit. Because His Holy Spirit give us light also, on what the Living Word is all about.

Jesus is the Light

isWNUVGOVLYou can see in the light, but not in darkness. The light shows up everything, nothing can be hidden in the light, but in darkness everything is hidden. In the light you can see your way, but in darkness you stumble and fall. Jesus is the Living Word and so the Word lights up the way. Jesus is the way, His light which is of Himself. He lights up the way and is the only way to life and the means to enter the kingdom of God.

The Word is Living

The Word of God is living, many people can personally testified to that. At different times the Word of the Holy Bible has come literally, visibly alive. In my case one day I was writing a book in my early years that I never got to finished it. I was looking through the Bible, trying to find a verse that I needed for my book, and different verses literally said ‘take me’ with such urgency. The Word is alive and so we should treat His Words with such reverence.

We must ask for revelation, even if it takes a while to receive it. Really only God can make things clear for you. The Holy Spirit will give you clarity. You will be probably be very surprise and delighted how He does it.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

I just heard a wonderful message from the Lord through Terri Taplin You Tube channel I think message 289. Most people have been told you can only be baptised by the Holy Spirit if you speak in tongues etc. Jesus is saying not to listen to man’s religion.  Jesus says when you become a born again Christian and you ask Jesus to enter into your heart, He does. You are not a sinner in the same way as those who are not born again. If you have a repented heart and trust Him, you are forgiven. When we receive the water baptism we are baptised of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:20

Baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

So it very Biblical. We have our Bibles for now, to study what Jesus is saying, but in the near future it will become illegal to have one that is what the prophets are saying. We can confuse one another and sometimes it is deliberate and at other times it is the blind leading the blind, and we all been there at certain times in our lives. We receive the Holy Spirit not because we deserve it. Look at St. Peter, he denied Jesus three times and received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. If you are in love with Him and have a repented heart and been water baptised and give yourself up to the Holy Trinity, you are all his.

Over a period of time you will start to sense Him in you, and other people will too from time to time. Not always. I feel God works best when you don’t know He is in you, working through you. Once you recognise Him, I think we tend to spoil things because of our pride. I thought this news would bring a great deal of joy to many people who are confused about the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Facing Reality

Terri Taplin and Still Small Voice are the two main channels that I listen too, because I believe their anointing is particularly strong. I thought I will mention them in case you too are much helped by the messages Jesus gives them. They can be very comforting as well and help prepare yourself for Jesus’s coming.

is(15)My calling seems to be warning everybody that we have a Spiritual enemy – the devil and the fallen angels mostly. Not everybody has been to hell or heaven, but hopefully you do believe in it. Because how can you fight a war if you don’t believe there is one. How can you be safe if you don’t protect yourself. I am not talking about protecting yourself physically so much, but protecting your soul. As we all know Christ died for our sins. We may be called to follow Him all the way to our own crucifixion for His sake and for the conversion of souls. Martyrdom is a form of a prayer. Your life is a prayer if it is lived for God alone. Your soul is much more important than your life on earth and your physical body.  What happens to you when you leave your body is going to be eternal. I want to go to heaven, don’t you? The thing is just because I am a believer, I won’t rest until I know I am going to be safe in heaven. We can slip over something so small and don’t recognise it. Praying is a life saver. We can keep praying for all the graces we need to fulfil His will. Pray all the time to be ready when Jesus comes for you. Don’t presume you are going to make it and don’t presume you not either. Just pray to be ready and do what is before you. Believe God is guiding you. Pray for direction. Pray, Pray and Pray some more. Pray without ceasing as St. Paul tells us to. You can’t take chances, you don’t want to go through the Great Tribulation do you?

Some people unfortunately put their heads in the sand. As if the problem will just go away by its own accord. We know that won’t happen. We have to be responsible people. One beautiful person I know who is an elder of a church, doesn’t believe in the devil, she is not the only beautiful person who doesn’t believe in the devil. She as well as others have left themselves wide open for the devil to attack and deceived them and they wouldn’t even know it. How can you defend yourself when you don’t even know you have such a dangerous enemy as Satan.

I would love to write about all the beautiful things about God and our relationship with Him. It does seem I am to talk about how to recognise the enemy and how important it is to fight the good fight to the very end. If you have a belief that many are now being taught, if you serve God life will run smoothly for you. If that is what you have been taught, please free yourself of that lie. Because it is a lie. How can life run smoothly when we are in the middle of the fiercest war in history? Satan knows his time is nearly up and he is fighting with all his strength to deceive us and kill our souls. The body is one thing, but don’t let anybody steal your soul. That is what the fight is really all about, to get you to hell. Love is what we have to aim for, because Jesus will tell you it is your love for Him and people that is going to count, not your position, or your money or how many countries you have seen. Keep as humble as you can and trust in Him and repeat words to yourself all day long that strengthens your faith and strengthens your courage, because you don’t know where life is going to take you. The third world war for example is not that far off. You need to know your suffering is short and your reward is eternal.

New Ways of Worshiping God keeps Our Relationship Fresh

The more ways we try to explore God’s ways, the more closer we will come to Him. It is the same with our friends and family. If we do the same thing every day over and over again the friendship becomes stale. We have to try out new things to keep the friendship alive and fresh. Some routines are very good and necessary and at other times we need to change things a little. So as to see new things in the person that we didn’t know about before. Somebody who has been married for 50 years, are still finding out new things about each other. That is the way our relationship with God is so supposed to be like. If we keep doing the same things over and over again, how can we find about new wonderful things about our God and Father, if we don’t let Him show us.

Recognising God’s Voice

I was thinking the other day about God wanting to communicate with us all the time. We have been told many times. We have to learn how to recognise His voice from our own and that of the evil one. God may communicate to you one way all through your life, but there are many other ways in which He does communicate. I tend to have visitations, so I have been spoilt in that I thought that is the only way He would communicate to me. Through experimenting how to come closer to God, from outstanding Christians. In other words Christians that have proven to be faithful to God is important. There is so much evil in this world and too many people who may sound trustworthy until you have a closer look at their lives. Don’t get confused of rumours either. There are too many people out there these days that are deliberately attacking good honest Christians, with shocking lies about them. Wanting to destroy their characters before the eyes of the public, and therefore trying to damage the reputation of Christianity. So it is so important to pray for discernment. The devil is very desperate at the moment to lead the most people astray from God and their eternal inheritance. He is more aware than any of us how short his time to rule the earth is left to him.

How it Works With Me

I am learning more and more how to recognised God’s voice other than visitations of Jesus in spirit. The best way to work for me, is to start writing to God. As I am writing I ask Him to speak to me through writing. I have found with me, as soon as words start to coming to me, I just start writing them down. If I don’t falter it starts to flow quickly. Sometimes so quickly I can’t keep up with it. I have read that can happen. I am thinking maybe God does it that way so that the devil doesn’t have a chance to butt in. The moment I question a word and stop, the flow then also stops and I can’t start it up again. What I have noticed if I just write the word that I am confused about anyway, after I have written the whole letter down and re-read it, it makes beautiful sense.

A Method of Discerning

You do have to watch the devil, because he will present words to you that sounds good, but is just to get you in. I have found the devil will often quote Bible passages with me, so as to win my confidence over. There is a difference when God speaks to you. When it is God who speaks to you it so touches your heart and makes you so joyful. You feel so loved. The devil I would imagine works differently for each person. In that everybody has different weakness in what they feel comes from God. Remember what Jesus tells us how to discern a false prophet or a wolf in sheep’s clothing. ‘By their fruits you will know them.’ If it leads to true holiness, which includes love and meekness then it is OK. If it ends up leading you to think you are better than others, or you find the messages no longer resemble the character of Christ, know it is not from God.

isW102ZQ1LI believe God is really pouring down His Holy Spirit onto people. I Know I am not the only one who can see this. I believe without a doubt it is due to the many and countless Christian martyrs being tortured and dying for the Lord. I believe they have paid the price for us, to receive the Holy Spirit at a new level. We all have to work to increase the kingdom of God, according to what we have to offer. Martyrdom is a very powerful way that appeases God’s Justice. And therefore showers mercies on people that otherwise would not have receive it. Some receive the grace of salvation and others salvation and incredible increase of the supernatural gifts from the Holy Spirit. I am certainly finding that I have been incredibly been blessed with increase and I know it is not only because I serve God with all my heart, but others have prayed for me and I thank the martyrs also so much. Our faith was founded on the Martyrdom of Jesus Christ and all His disciples. With the exception of one, they were all martyred to death. And you look at Christian history, when the enemy of our faith tries to destroy our belief in Christ, through killing off all the Christians. What it does instead? It increases our devotion to our God and we call on Him like nobody’s business and guess what? The faith in truth grows more speedily, during persecution than in peace time. Have you ever noticed? More come to know Him and therefore instead of less Christians the enemy has to attend with, there are more. That is the way God rewards the Martyrs. They bring in a rich harvest for Him.

John 3:16-17

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Sometimes we hear a verse in the Bible so often we don’t really pay deep attention of what it is saying. The above verse is so important to meditate on it all our lives. You should never get tired of hearing it. And likewise the verse below is so important to remember as well, because Satan will do everything in his power for you not to believe in the promises of God.

Romans 10:9

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in you heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

When you believe in your heart, it is going to show in your actions. Our tendency to skip what we don’t want to hear is very strong in all of us, unfortunately. We mustn’t do that!! If we want to be saved we must learn to listen and obey. If you really believe that Jesus is Lord, you are not going to disobey him. So look careful what St. Paul is saying. Too many people are giving lips service to God. If you want to make God angry that is a perfect way to do it; somebody who gives only lips service, is a fake Christian.

The Word of God and Forgiveness

is570FUPLHThe Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. We need to know our place before God, before we can ever begin to appreciate all that He does for us. We all should know walking on the straight and narrow road sometimes is so narrow if it is like walking on a rope. You know when you see people up in the air, putting one foot carefully in front of the other walking on a rope in the middle of the air with only a long rod to balance themselves with. In many ways that is how I see our spiritual walk with God is like. Miss place your foot by an inch and you fall.

Thanks to our great God He has given us His Holy Word to keep us balanced. If we stray from the Word of God, we will fall. Understanding the Word of God, we need to ask God to fill us with His Holy Spirit. Which is often called the Spirit of Enlightenment. We need the Holy Spirit more than we need the air we breathe. Without the precious sacrifice of Jesus we would never be able to pass the test of salvation. It is Jesus blood that has made way to eternal life. If Jesus didn’t make His life one long sacrifice paying for our debits, not one person would be allowed to enter into heaven, full stop. Because of Jesus sacrifice we can hope to be saved, but if we don’t hand over our life and soul to Him, His blood has been wasted on us and we won’t be saved. Only the pure, humble, meek and the perfect enters heaven. We are None of these things. We fall every day and that’s when we are trying to be perfect. What is it like when we are not trying?

isW102ZQ1LThere is no hope for us, but in the name of Jesus. We do not value Him anyway near as we should. To do so we have to be another exact copy of Jesus. When we join His sheep fold, we start to resemble Him and then as time passes with diligence we learn to die more and more to ourselves and put on the new nature of Jesus. We do become more and more like Him through His grace. It is a process. It takes time and after a great many deaths to self-love, another way of explaining it, when we stop worshiping ourselves and start worshipping God with a pure and humble heart, we will arrive. Thanks to Jesus this is possible. Through His death we are offered life, but we must have to die to sin first. Saints of old have even preferred to suffering than having what the world calls having a good time, because of this truth. There is a prayer that was made in St. Francis honour and in it is says ‘in dying we are born to eternal life.’ The more you can put Jesus first in your life the more you die to sin and that does set you free.

There is so much God is willing to forgive to those who genuinely seek it. God has absolutely no difficulties forgiving a repentant sinner. Just a few days ago Jesus amazed me again in the ease He forgives sins when you are humble before Him, and are genuinely sorry that you have offended Him. We are always up and down. One minuet we doing fairly well in being obedient to God and then in the next moment we come down hard to the floor crushing loudly with our sins. We just have to keep persevering and repent. Jesus tells us to keep persevering. That is the only way we are going to make it. Jesus has already paid the price for our sins, we just have to do our bit.

Why I believe the straight narrow road that Jesus teaches us to travel on can be like a walking on a rope, is that being balanced spiritually is very important. It can make or break you. When we read the Word of God, we must watch our tendency to lie to ourselves. We must always take in the whole message and not ignore the part we don’t want to hear. For example in the past and it is now creeping back again in the churches again, a particular scripture that has been used to abused rather than do the work that St. Paul intended it to. When St. Paul was preaching on marriages. The preachers only preached that woman had to obey their husband, but exceedingly rarely preached the whole message which was in reference to how men was to treat their wives. Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved His church. Look at the love Jesus has for us. There is no love like it on earth and St. Pauls was telling the men that is how they are to loved their wives according to
God’s Will. What a difference that would of made in the world throughout the centuries. If they only preached it as keenly and persistently as they did with the woman having to obey their husbands.  Our world would not be in the state it is now in.

Balance is so important, we have to put the whole Word of God into practice. We are not to choose what we will obey and what we will not obey. That is not fearing the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. Don’t ever forget that, because is so important to our spiritual survival. You can go overboard too with the fear of the Lord. Once again it has to be balanced with the knowledge Jesus has made a way for us to becoming pleasing to God. So much so, we will have equal inheritance with Jesus Himself if we only listen to His teaching and obey. We are not to use His Words to mean something else.

God is so forgiving to those who truly repent. And He doesn’t make a big thing of it either. As long as we know our place before Him, everything works out fine. A few days ago, I was repenting over something, which I now can’t remember, because of the shock how Jesus accepted my repentance so casually if I could call it that. There was not the slightest drama attached to it. We read over and over again about the goodness of our God, but seeing it face to face has a powerful effect on you. It was so obvious that He forgave me with such ease with no drama attached to it. I am not explaining it that well. I had a visitation from Jesus. He always comes unexpectedly. I think I was apologizing over my many life-long faults, which was immediately forgotten, because of Jesus acceptance was so gentle with total acceptance of me.

We must learn to believe this. Just because we have problems learning how to forgive one another at times, it doesn’t mean our God has this problem. We should stop putting limits on God, just because our human nature has limits.

Jeremiah 17:14

Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if You save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for You alone!

Teach Your Children to Love

isYIDIAPUBIf I was a parent in these times I would be so strict on what my child was watching on T.V. and what games they were playing on the computers and so forth. Because there is an enemy who wants to destroy your children’s innocence. So that they never will learn to have a personal relationship with God. Not ever knowing how much God loves and cares for them. Many children are not being supervised. And Mary the mother of Jesus does appear to people, she has appeared to me also. There was one visionary Mary told her to let people know, ‘don’t let your children be raised by the world.’ Unfortunately that is what is happening when you sit your child in front of a T.V. set, to get some peace and quiet. Nobody can blame you, but you have to figure another way. My mother use to send us to our bedrooms and it worked for her. Have you notice children’s cartoons encourages your children to be rebellious, disrespectful of their elders, be violent towards one another with a-me- first attitude. It is a worldly attitude, they are learning and in the long run you are going to have even less peace and quiet. They will do what they have been taught by the shows they watching, on you.

Not All Churches are Teaching Your Children Correctly

I use to teach Sundays school when I was very young at the ages between thirteen and eighteen years of old in a Presbyterian church that I belong to at the time. Things were going OK and then at the end they were no longer teaching Bible stories, but fiction. When you read the small print what was actually being taught was selfishness and cheekiness to their elders. So I refused to teach anymore. Both Protestants and Catholics are basically in the same boat even with all the fighting that is going on between the two churches. Your children need to be taught by you. Don’t leave it to chance that your church is teaching them correctly. Even if they are, you are still the most influential person they have in their lives. Not only what you teach by being their role model, but you need to teach them one on one, who Jesus is and the Bible stories. Really let them know that God does truly love them and is ever so proud of them. Get them to talk to God and teach them to look on God who will rescue and help them if they learn His ways. That He is really their Heavenly Father who loves them more than any person can. Make Him the most important person in the family. Don’t turn it into a religion make it personal.

I had a very good friend many years ago, who was a Protestant and she told me one day in amazement that her 15 year old daughter shocked her by saying something negative about Christians and Jesus crucifixion. Her mother said to her ‘I thought I was raising you up to be a good Christian girl.’ She said her daughter just looked at her as if to say ‘I didn’t know that.’ I know Protestants are usually more evangelical than Catholics as a rule and Catholics are more prayer and sacrifice orientated as a rule. Not in every case, but the two churches tend to concentrate more on one thing than the other. I really think in many cases that is where much of the prejudices towards one another comes from. I am not pointing the finger at Protestants, because it is also happening in the Catholic churches too. Many Catholics don’t know what Catholics are supposed to believe in either. The parents send them to Catholics schools thinking they are getting their religious education and they are not. Because the Catholics schools are really run here in Australia by the government, who in truth have no loyalties towards Christ. So what can we expect if we do not personally teach them about the love of Jesus has for them. If the next generation are not being taught about their Christian heritage!! What do we expect?

Teach Your Children Very Early

You have to start teaching your children about God or your children will most likely end up in the New Age religion and it is a religion. This religion may seem harmless to a great many people I was fooled by some of the practise myself, like crystal healing, but it is far from harmless. It starts out small and then they go deeper and deeper and then the person becomes so trapped and their minds no longer can see reason. Just look at drugs for example how many people who started out with pot or weed or whatever they call it. My spelling of its real name is so bad I can’t even find it in the dictionary. But I am sure you know what drug I am talking about. The one they say is harmless that it is not addictive. It is addictive, some people more than others. They start out with pot and then how many do end up on hard drugs and can’t get off it. Mind you if you know somebody or you are willing to learn about self-deliverance you can get off anything if you put your complete trust in Christ and genuinely give your life over to Him. He can and does miracles even today. All Christians should learn how to do self-deliverance at the very least and you never know your faith might grow and you then can start delivering demons out of your family members and then who knows!!

We all Should Learn How to do Self-deliverance

is(7)There is videos on YouTube, where people do deliverance. Derek Prince is very powerful and I have watched it twice and the first time I started to wail like I never did before. So much grief left me the first time. The second time I did a lot of coughing. Demons can go out by coughing, yawning, crying and sometimes screaming are some of the ways that I know they do go out. He is delivering Christians, if you are not a Christian and you have lived a very sinful life. I would suggest go and search for a church that practise healing and deliverance. You may need deliverance more on one on one basis. With born again Christians it is not such a problem as a rule. If you are not a born again Christian, those demons can be more dramatic and need that extra special attention. They do leave you in the name of Jesus. It is just you may need somebody with more experience and maybe a group of people interceding for you while the deliverance is taking place. I am really talking about people who are possessed by demons. Christians that are true Christians can never be possess, because their spirit is one with Jesus. They still can however be very much oppressed by demons, and need deliverance from those demons that are interfering with their lives.

So as usual I have got off the track. New age is a form of devil worshiping, though the people would be horrified if they knew it. People might become interested in white magic for example and think it is harmless, but then how many people who are now into black magic that first started with the white magic. Satan will start you off with something that seems harmless to you and then as you go deeper things get twisted without you noticing it. So be warned.

Start teaching your child real early like when you are changing the child’s nappy.  Tell the child how much God loves them. I personally believe they understand more than you think. Make loving God fun. Let them know God is not stern and a judgemental God by how you talk about Him. If you talk about Him with love they will learn to trust Him. They are looking at you. You are their role model. A prayer life is so important, so begin early in a fun way. Don’t complicate things. Simple is good and powerful.

Discernment

John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”

The Holy Spirit will give witness of what He hears from the Father in your spirit. The more in tune you are with the Spirit of God, the more you will experience a ‘knowing’ within you. We are always growing in this. The freer we are of our selfish love the more we will hear God’s voice within us. You don’t necessary know how you know, but you just know if something is authentic or not. You cannot discern anything correctly without the Spirit of God, which we call the Holy Spirit. isWNUVGOVL

To become more in tune with the Spirit of God, we first have to be willing to obey God. The more obedient we are to God the more He will favour us with His Spirit, which is also called the Spirit of enlightenment. To know God is to have the mind and heart of God. Of course we are so insignificant before Him. It is only His love for us and the price Jesus paid for us that made this possible. We are so small, we are smaller than a molecule before Him. I obviously don’t mean we will ever equal Him, but we are of the same wave length so to speak. We are made in His image, we are like a very tiny mirror reflecting the sun. Even though a tiny mirror is no way equal to the sun, when it is reflecting the sun, it can blind you with its brightness. Jesus is the light of the world and we have become a light of the world too, because of what Jesus has done for us, so that we are not only saved through believing in Him we also have The Holy Spirit that dwelt in Him.

The Holy Spirit Dwells in a Believer

So when the Holy Spirit dwells in us, after we are born again. That is completely surrendering ourselves to God on His terms, which is believing Jesus is His only begotten Son and our saviour. Depending how deep the conversion has taken place we will have the ability to recognise the true voice of a person. If the person is a fake or not.  Are the people are who they say they are Etc. If they are of God they will have qualities of His character for example God is not cruel, barbaric, hypocritical, double minded, selfish, lustful etc. Many people hide behind religion and pretend they righteous people when they are in truth not. Wolves in sheep skins, beware not everybody who smiles at you can be trusted.

We are all at different levels of maturity and we are always if we are real believers in Jesus are always finding more things about ourselves we have to strip away. That is a good thing because it means we are growing. If we are content with ourselves and think we a good Christians and worst still, consider ourselves better than others that is a dangerous place to be. You are in a good position to back slide, because you are not being alert of what needs improving in you.

Righteousness

is(9)Isaiah 32:17 And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.

If we are living in union with the Holy Spirit of God, there is always peace and righteousness. True righteousness, shines and glorifies God. When a person pretends or is misled in thinking he is righteous there is never going to be true peace, because you have to be real with Jesus. We can’t serve two master and I am afraid that many do and don’t realise it. For the last year I have had to chuck things out of my home, after realising they are not pleasing to God. I had a beautiful dragon that I love and it was a gift from somebody who is now deceased, so I also had a sentimental attachment with it. I kept saying to myself and to God that it is just an ordainment. Something inside of me kept persisting that it was not right for me to have it, so I end up chucking it and now feel a lot more happier because of it. It does win to do the will of God and you do receive peace and it is worth the sacrifice. God can’t give you blessings if you refuse to obey Him.

Waking Up to the Power of His Love for Us

I watched a very interesting documentary on seeing if young children would wake up during a fire alarm blaring the way it does. Parents stood by shocked to see their children deep into sleep and how difficult it was to wake them up, even while the alarm was sounding. I feel that is a very good comparison to many Christians who are asleep to the times we are in. Not only that, but the power we children of God have over His tender Heart towards us. We may believe our Heavenly Father really and truly loves us, but there is still a little doubt ‘will He answer this prayer? Am I asking too much? I am too unworthy for God to do miracles through me? It is pride wanting me to ask this of Him? And so on. Now I have the same problem.

We Are in a New Era

We are in an era not only are the prophets talking about it, but I am seeing it for myself, and I am sure most of you are too. Where God is helping us along mightily for those who are at least trying to believe in this incredible love, He has for all of us. We can see His love for us proven time and time again, throughout our lives. You might find like me in some areas your faith maybe stronger than others around you and in other areas their faith is stronger than yours. I believe our faith is the strongest where we had to rely on Him the most in our lives and where we can see countless results of His Faithfulness. Where we are weakest in faith, we haven’t been exposed enough to test Him out as it were.

You know I was listening to a YouTube show, it was a Scientist who wanted to know how the universe was made. He knew intuitively there was a Creator, so he went studying all the holy books of all the religions of the world. The last one was the Bible. Now one of the things he said that was of interest to me was, none of the other holy books ever said test this out, but the Holy Bible. There were many reason he found the Holy Bible was superior to the others, which I won’t go into. I think you have a pretty good idea anyway.

Psalm 145:18. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.

isBMF7O71YToo many of us give up too easily when we are petitioning to God. God does have His reason why some prayers seem to be slow to answer. The most common reason is our lack of faith. Faith grows and matures as a rule over time, because I believe we are either are too proud to believe. ‘If I can’t do it I can’t see how God can do it either’ attitude. Or we have such a low self-esteem of ourselves we think God sees us the way other people do and the way we have been taught to see ourselves. God has never taught us to have a low self-esteem.  Low self-esteem is taught to us. Look at new born baby, they do not enter into this world with a low self-esteem. God didn’t put it there. It may come from a person’s family background and the pecking order of the society you may come from. Let’s face it humans make very bad judges. Most people have to learn to have kind thoughts towards people we consider different in any way to ourselves. Our society will dictate to you what is acceptable and what is not. If you don’t fit into society ideas of what a perfect person is then you are immediately an outcast. Jesus teaches us to be childlike. Jesus teaches us to be kind to one another. He teaches us to even love our enemies. There is not one religion in this world that teaches its people to love their enemies.

John 14:6. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Many people will argue against that, it may not be political correct, but it is correct according to God.

John 5:24. “I tell you the truth, those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.”

How do we enter into a Relationship with God?

isPMK3SZJMEverybody is different and everybody’s situation is different so God works with you in a very individual way. We have general rules, but there is always exceptions to that rule. I remember reading a book from a very famous faith healer in the 70’s her name was Kathryn … I am sorry but I think her surname was Koolman. I never really remember names that well, I always remember the information, but very rarely the person’s name who gave it. She was ask by many people to write a book on healing and she said every time she said ‘Jesus doesn’t do it this way, He went and did’, so she then had to rewrite that chapter.

These are some of the general rules how to begin a relationship with God.

1.      You must really want the relationship with all your heart. More you want it the stronger your relationship will be.

2.      Expect God will try you at first, to see how much you want it, if not to get you to want it all the more. The more you want something the harder you are willing to go without, do, find, wait and yearn for, etc.

3.      Read the Holy Bible and get to know God that way.

4.      Read up spiritual books that helps you, don’t bother with the ones that are too advance for you, because you won’t understand a word they are saying. They just end up confusing you.

5.      Put aside daily prayer and meditate often on how much God loves you accordingly to the Bible.

6.      Put God’s commandments into practise. All God’s commandments are based on pure holy love. ‘Don’t do anything to others that you wouldn’t want done unto you.’ For example you don’t want people to lie, cheat, steal, be unkind to you in any way, so therefore you don’t do these things to other people. It has to do with how to treat people correctly and God with love.

7.      Then experiment. Talk to Him as if you can see Him. The more you talk and open up in a childlike manner, the more joy you will experience. Being childlike is to be the pure you, let your head go and talk to Him as if He is your best and most trusted Friend, Father, and Brother, Spouse or companion. Somebody who you really can trust and love with all your heart. Somebody you can depend on. And somebody who allows you to be yourself without worrying about how it looks to them.

8.      Don’t worry if you seem silly, because you feel like you are talking to thin air, talk always as if you can see Him whether you do or not.

We are growing closer to God all the time and we are trying out new things all the time. As our understanding of Him grows, we find new ways of loving Him. All my life I have rushed here and there, I am just learning and it has taken me eighteen months to get this far too really stop and really have a good look at God in His creations and talk to Him through His creations. Sometimes I feel God’s presence in His creations, but not always. Sometimes I feel His power or He may communicate something to me. He doesn’t always show up as it were. God knows the best time to do this and when to keep hiding, so that you will learn to walk in faith and also to love Him all the time, not just when you are getting something from Him.

When God is Calling You, do it Now

The first time Jesus called me to write, I didn’t believe He meant me. I couldn’t put two words together in all my fifty years and then suddenly He is telling me to write. I was minding my own business (which seems to be one of His favourite times to communicate) reading the book ‘He and I’ and His words jumped out on the page and Hit me in my face as it were, and pretty much shouted at me. I still couldn’t believe. I said to Him ‘you are not telling me to write because I can’t.’ If it is the will of God, gifts just appear from what seems nowhere. I believe it is to make sure you know without doubt that the gift is from God and not how clever you are. I had a vision recently, I saw with my eyes closed a picture of Jesus and He was above me sending pages one after another so quickly, something like two sheets a second for me to write. Of course it is impossible to write that many that quickly, it takes hours just to write one article. Jesus to me was saying I have so much to teach not only through you but through all those who are called to teach, there is so little time left. I also believe He is saying get the true message out, because there is so much false information confusing His children and more false information is coming like a flood. That is my interpretation of what He showed me.

God Uses Anybody

Some people might argue ‘you not a Bible scholar, you aren’t even learned in theology and so on.’ All I have is what people have taught me and my own experience, but it seems that is enough for God to work through. The thing is we all have something very important and urgent to teach one another. It may not seem much to you, but for somebody else it might be life-saving. I have spoken to people about what God has told me casually only to find tears in people’s eyes and it had shocked me, because I didn’t realise until that point how important it was for the person to hear that story. The more you live for God the more He is going to teach you even on a personal level, like visions and so on. We are all needed to spread what we have to people who are hungry for the truth. I can’t teach what Bible scholars can teach, they teach me many things. I don’t fold my arms and say I don’t need to learn from you. I learn whatever God puts before me. God doesn’t need anybody to teach, but He chooses to do so. He loves team work and we are part of His team.

There are so many callings and all are needed as much as the other. Christ tells us the ‘least is the highest and the highest is the least.’ This is so because we are all dependent on each other. Just look at all the worldly jobs out there. We have people in very high positions like leaders, but what good is a leader without people putting their dreams they have into tangible results. Some people are dreamers but they don’t know how to put it together and with other people it is the other way around. If nobody was to clean toilets or work picking up our garbage, there would be diseases rapidly spreading throughout our towns and cities. People may look down on those with what the world calls lowly jobs, but if nobody did them we all would suffer. That’s just on a physical level what about spiritual callings, we all have a calling. If you don’t know what yours is, ask Him.

Listen to the Voice of God

I have been asking God and Mary to help me hear their voice so that I can be instructed on all things in my life, what seems to be unimportant to the very important things. I always thought people who said you hear a small still voice within you as hearing an audible voice, which I now find that is not what they mean. Sometimes God just gives you a very strong impression to do something, you just seem to know and not necessary know how you know. That is God’s Spirit talking to you. If you question it, I find then you get confused and it is harder to hear Him the second time around. If you obey the first time, you start to recognise Him easier and the more times you respond to His message the quicker you recognise Him when He speaks to you. There are many ways in which God communicates to His children.
