Prayer is Very Powerful

Not everybody is in a position to help many different types of people in all situations. Prayer is powerful and you can pray for everybody in all different situations. For example you might grieve very strongly about people who are caught in the sex traffic, but are no way in a position to help. Most of us can’t help others physically, but we sure can pray for them.

When you hear of bad news you can always pray for the people or animal, or country’s concern. Sometimes God is happy with a quick short prayer and at other times He wants you to pray long and hard for months and sometimes for years over it. He places such a heavy burden on your heart that you need to pray for them. If you don’t have a burden pray for one and He will give you one or two or more.

One thing I love about prayer it is versatile. You are limited in your help physically but never spiritually. You can’t help the whole world, but you can pray for the whole world. Many people think their prayers are not powerful. They would be so surprise to find out, they are extremely powerful and God is waiting for them to help out, through their prayers. God’s way of answering prayers I find are usually different from what I expect. He always has a better plan. For example I got a burden for animals that are dumped and on T.V. that night the media reported about a female dog that was  pregnant and dumped and was then looked after. I find that happens over and over again. At first I thought it wasn’t related to my prayers, but it kept happening and then I finally said it was an answer to my prayers. And you will too be surprise how often that happens, once you start saying prayers for other people. And of course others know better than me how true this is.

We must pray all the time, every chance we can get. And offer up our days for people and different things that God has placed on our heart.

James 5:16. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Don’t mistake a righteous person to be somebody who doesn’t fail God from time to time, but rather somebody who seeks to please God with all their heart.

Mark 11:24. “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

A prayer Claiming back what was stolen

In the most precious Blood and Name of Jesus I claim back everything Satan has stolen from me, from the beginning of time, seven fold return for the glory and praise of your name.

Jesus has told me to pray it. Not only do we receive what has been stolen from us, Jesus can re own what was lost in us too. You don’t have to word the prayer the way I did, you can do it the way it has more meaning for you.

You will be Given Mercy if You are Merciful to others

Matthew 5:7-8.  “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

isPLLWHJ3SGod will give us mercy at the measure we give mercy to others. There are plenty of times we want to help people, but are out of our reach to do so. We can still help and give up some offering, whether it is donations to a charity that helps the people God has put into our hearts to help or some act of self-denial to back up our prayers. There are great needs everywhere, for example children caught up in the sex trade could do with your help. Even praying for them for five minutes a day or better still say the rosary for them. God does answer prayers, especially if we keep it up. I often pray for God to stop abortions and God told me one day that many babies haven’t been aborted because of me praying for them. I have prayed for them for about eight years. So you see you can still help.

A woman by the name of Gabrielle Bossis went past a brothel and her heart went out to them and Jesus said to her ‘how many times have I told you when you can’t enter, your prayers enter.’ It is important to remember you will receive mercy if you give it. Not long ago I went through a crisis of not believing I will go to heaven if I die. I believed everybody else would, but not me. God brought to my attention because of an act of mercy to someone, giving them hope when they really need it, God gave me hope and let me know that I was fine with Him. You don’t know when you are going to need mercy from God, because of a crisis you find yourself in. Your faith may not always be strong enough. It is necessary to show mercy to others, for the glory of God and for our salvation. God said in Exodus 33:19……. I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

So not everybody receives mercy, because they did not give it. Children who are tortured every day by being sexual insulted needs our prayers as so many other people do. Let’s not be selfish and start praying for people who are in hopeless situations. We would like to know other people are praying for us when we are in a crisis wouldn’t we?

Two Beautiful Prayers

Two Beautiful Prayers

Oh most rich treasury of all virtues, how greatly do I rejoice  that thee alone, and through Thee, flows every good; and that all in comparison of thy perfection is as nothing! I thank Thee, Lord, for this and for all other good gifts, which Thou hast  Bestowed upon ….. Remember, Lord, my poverty and my  Sore need of all … virtues!

 Another beautiful prayer.

How great O Sovereign Lord of all, be it my inward joy the knowledge that without Thee I can do nothing, and that Thou art the first and chief Worker in all good things that I do.

I got these beautiful prayers from a book called ‘Spiritual Combat’ by Dom Lorenzo Scupoli. From Sophia Institute Press. St. Francis de Sales, carried this book in his pocket for 18 years. The first prayer is for when you admire somebodies virtues, and to remind you not to put the person’s virtue higher than God.  I also use it for my favourite saints including Mary our Mother. I changed the second prayer a bit, which is something I do a lot with prayers that I like.

A Crusade Prayer Said before the Rosary

isPLLWHJ3SO Queen of the Holy Rosary, thou didst deign to come to Fatima to reveal to the three shepherd children the treasures of Grace hidden in the Rosary. Inspire my heart with a sincere love of this devotion, in order that by meditating on the Mysteries of our Redemption, which are recalled in it. I may be enriched by its fruits and obtain peace in the world, the conversion of sinners and of Russia, and the Graces, which I ask of thee in this Rosary. (Here mention your request).

I ask this for the greater glory of God, for thine own honour, and for the good of souls, especially for my own.

The Crusade of Prayer

I got this prayer from a book called ‘The Crusade of Prayer’. Maria Divine Mercy was given this prayer by Mary and Jesus and so are all the other prayers in the book.

It took three years after my conversion to the Catholic Faith before I had the courage, to discipline myself to say the rosary regularly. And even then it was off and on. I had a very guilty conscious over it, but still couldn’t bring myself around to saying it every day. I know there are others in a similar boat to me. This prayer is ideal for you, because after I said it a number of times I now have a love of the Rosary like never before. I say the Scriptural Rosary. And I know Jesus really loves the Scriptural Rosary, because once while saying it He appeared with great happiness over me saying it. I found the Scriptural Rosary over the internet after a great deal of searching. I like the simple version the best. I can’t say it every day, but I hate it when I can’t. The Crusade Prayers have a special blessing on them from God. And they are mostly prayers for the end days and preparing us for the second coming of Jesus. I believe you can get this book on the internet.

Prayer for Daily Neglects

isEternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its Love, all its sufferings and all it Merits.

First – to expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life. Glory be to the Father and to the Son …!

Second – to purify the good I have done badly this day and during all my life. Glory be …..!

Third – To supply for the good I ought to have done, and that I have neglected this day and during all my life. Glory be ….!

A poor Clare nun, who had just died appeared to her abbess and said to her, ‘I went straight to heaven, for by means of this prayer, recited every evening, I paid my debts.

I say this prayer Eternal Father,… one on each of the other prayers, but that is just my choice. I just feel it is even more powerful that is all. I hope you enjoy saying it, because it tends to lift your spirits after you have said it.

Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love prayer for Souls in Purgatory

Mary has told Elizbeth Kindelmann while she was alive to spread the devotion of the Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love Rosary, which you will find amongst the early articles that I wrote. Another short prayer that can be said with the promise it will blind Satan is.

Flood the whole human race with grace from Your Flame of love now and in the hour of our death.

Another prayer Mary has asked us to pray is one Hail Mary during November and it will release ten souls from purgatory any other month you need to say three Hail Mary’s to release one soul from purgatory. So since it is November this is the time to really get start praying it. Not only are we helping souls that no longer can help themselves, but when they arrive in heaven do you think they are going to forget us? They will pray for us until we have arrive to heaven also, out of gratitude.  Love reigns in heaven and gratitude is an expression of love as we all know. So please pray for them.

The Burden of Prayer

We all have favourite verses in the Bible that helps us through. One of my favourite verse is ‘In your strength we can crush an army; with our God we can scale any wall.’ I like the event when Israel was in trouble, God sent an angel out to destroy a whole army by himself. And another event took place, when the musician went out in front and three very large armies killed one another so there was no one left in their army to kill. There are some very beautiful events that took place written in the Bible that encourages you to put your complete trust in God. He always comes to your rescue if you turn to Him in obedience. We are never alone, though we may think so at times. It is good to pray for a burden. When God gives you a weight on your shoulders to pray for a particular group of people. He has given me a burden to pray for Christian Martyrs. I feel very deeply about them and I hope and pray that they will receive all the graces they need to keep their faith up and receive the crown of eternal life.

I once prayed to God ‘who do I pray for the most?’ and the answer I was given was ‘I pray for all the Jobs in the world.’ Job was somebody God had to purify so that he would be even closer to the Lord. The devil really attacked him with everything he had, but Job eventually past the test and became a better man then before the devil attacked him. What is your burden? It is important to have one at least. If you don’t have any ask God for one and He will definitely give you one. It could be the unborn babies, single mothers, orphans, criminals and your country. There is so many people in need of help. Not all are called to preach, but we all can put aside some time for prayer. The greatest reward is knowing you are helping somebody that otherwise you couldn’t. God always answers prayers that are holy. And you know you are relieving God’s heart of pain. Because God hates seeing people being cruel to one another. He wants to help, but if we don’t pray, God respects our free will, he won’t interfere if there is nobody going to pray for them. God won’t take away our free will doesn’t matter how badly we use it. So we need to pray for the love we have for each other and for the love we have for God.

Novena to the Infant Jesus of Prague in Urgent Need

This novena to be said for nine days or nine consecutive hours.

O Jesus, Who said, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you,” through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted. (Mention your request.)

O Jesus, Who said, “All that you ask of the Father in My Name He will grant you,” through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your Name that my prayer be granted. (Mention your request.)

O Jesus, who said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass,” through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. (Mention your request).

About the year 1628, the Discalced Carmelite Fathers of Prague received a statue of the Child Jesus. Princess Polixena who gave it to them said to them, ” I give you what I prize most highly in the world. As long as you venerate this image, you shall not want. After three years “the enemies of the faith carelessly thrown it into a heap of trash. The stature was discovered by Ven. Cyril of the Mother of God. One day he was praying before the stature when he heard these words, “Give Me My hands and I will give peace. The more you honour Me, the more will I bless you.”
