Prayer for Daily Neglects

isEternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its Love, all its sufferings and all it Merits.

First – to expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life. Glory be to the Father and to the Son …!

Second – to purify the good I have done badly this day and during all my life. Glory be …..!

Third – To supply for the good I ought to have done, and that I have neglected this day and during all my life. Glory be ….!

A poor Clare nun, who had just died appeared to her abbess and said to her, ‘I went straight to heaven, for by means of this prayer, recited every evening, I paid my debts.

I say this prayer Eternal Father,… one on each of the other prayers, but that is just my choice. I just feel it is even more powerful that is all. I hope you enjoy saying it, because it tends to lift your spirits after you have said it.

Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love prayer for Souls in Purgatory

Mary has told Elizbeth Kindelmann while she was alive to spread the devotion of the Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love Rosary, which you will find amongst the early articles that I wrote. Another short prayer that can be said with the promise it will blind Satan is.

Flood the whole human race with grace from Your Flame of love now and in the hour of our death.

Another prayer Mary has asked us to pray is one Hail Mary during November and it will release ten souls from purgatory any other month you need to say three Hail Mary’s to release one soul from purgatory. So since it is November this is the time to really get start praying it. Not only are we helping souls that no longer can help themselves, but when they arrive in heaven do you think they are going to forget us? They will pray for us until we have arrive to heaven also, out of gratitude.  Love reigns in heaven and gratitude is an expression of love as we all know. So please pray for them.

Be Still and Know I am Your God

Psalm 46.10. He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’

There are many ways to learn to be still.  The enemy of our souls does not want you to learn to be quiet and still before the Lord. Great intimacy and a very powerful union with God will come out of this type of prayer. It can make you a saint, if you practise it diligently. You will be walking in the presence of God. Look at the world we live in, it is anything but peaceful and quiet. It is so noisy and chaotic. All the inventions just about are so noisy that you cannot hear yourself think. Where there is unrest, your mind is not on God. Noise helps to prevent you from being in a state of calm. When you are calm you can see things more clearly, as God wants you to see. You will be able to relate to God more easily, because you are in peaceful state of being. When you learn how to practise the silent prayer, the peace which comes from Gods presence will carry you through all the stress and noise of this world.

Satan will try to distract you like crazy, sometimes it may take thirty to sixty minutes, just to quieten down. One woman asked a nun ‘how many different ways is there to practise contemplation?’ And the nun said ‘as many as there are people in the world.’ Contemplation is another word expressing to ‘be still before God.’ There are many different ways people express it. Some call it the silent prayer, others call it going into the secret place, or garden, where basically you are alone with the Lord. God is in you and being silent before God is just like when you are enjoying somebody you love being present. There is no talking with one another you just enjoy their company or another way of putting it you, just want to be with them.

You don’t always feel His presences especially when you are just starting out and lot of people give up, because you feel like you are wasting time. You think nothing is happening, but I think God is training you about many things. One thing for sure it takes perseverance, patience, humility, faith and loyalty to keep at it. So you are definitely growing in virtues.

Interior Castle

Saint Teresa has written books on her contemplative experiences, for example her classic book ‘Interior Castle’ is so difficult to understand. When I first read it I couldn’t understand it but I felt the presence of love so strong in her words. She was so advance only a few can really understand her. She even explains it that it can be like reading Greek if you don’t understand it. Because basically spiritual things of God is so impossible to use ordinary human words to describe them. You know when people try to translate a sentence for example in another language and you can’t always do it that well, you lose something in the translation, well how much more is that true when you are trying to explain spiritual things.

Mark 4; 39.  He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

We can do this too, because when we are quiet within ourselves we are connected to God and His power.  Now there are many ways to connect to God and we need to practise them all. We are not always quiet before the Lord for example, what about the times when we are singing to Him on top of our voices. We have to know the times when God is calling us to do absolutely nothing and just rest in Him, so that He can do His wonderful work in us. Being quiet also can be practise when we choose to quieten our emotions to serve God, for example instead of practising being irritable, because things are not the way you want them, try to be gentle and loving or sometimes you can try to be cheerful instead. It works. Love works. And people either like you more or love you more. Do not go overboard with cheerfulness, sometimes people need you to cry with them too.

Psalm 37: 7. isZJPOFTZOBe still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

If we are in a state of worry, it is a good indication that we need time out with God and learn to be quiet and still before Him. Really we should practice being quiet before Our God every day, sometimes it is not always possible but ideally we will feel a great deal better and more able to cope with life if we do. All prayers quieten you down to some extent. I am a quiet person by nature, probably due to the fact that I live a pray life. Being still before God, I have practiced it off and on throughout my life and I am just only now doing it more persistently than ever before, through necessity. This prayer demands a great deal more discipline then all other prayers and it may also require a great deal more faith, because you basically do nothing. And you know what humans are like. They want to do things for God, not just sit around and do nothing.

God Works on Your Soul

This is a time when God is doing all the work, sometimes secretly and other times He may let you know what He is doing. It is a time of healing, of being cleansed, being refreshed, being strengthen and growing in the knowledge of God, are only a few things that can take place. So you can imagine why the devil hates it so much. And why he is trying to make this world such a noisy place to live in. He is trying to stop people from hearing God.

Sometimes you can feel God’s presence and other times you cannot. Naturally when you feel His presence it is a great deal easier then when you cannot. It is a time of great relaxation, the deeper you go the deeper your level of peace you enter into. Hours can feel like only minutes. If you are like me it is hard work staying still. Everybody has to finds what works best for them, with some people they find God in the garden, others during fishing, Saint Teresa would look at a picture of Jesus, with me it is music. They call it soaking music. Quiet gentle music that is praising God. Other times I meditate on Jesus Crucifixion and can feel God’s presence that way. You have to find what works with you we are all different.

About the year 1628, the Discalced Carmelite Fathers of Prague received a statue of the Child Jesus. Princess Polixena who gave it to them said to them, ” I give you what I prize most highly in the world. As long as you venerate this image, you shall not want. After three years “the enemies of the faith carelessly thrown it into a heap of trash. The stature was discovered by Ven. Cyril of the Mother of God. One day he was praying before the stature when he heard these words, “Give Me My hands and I will give peace. The more you honour Me, the more will I bless you.”

Novena of the Holy Souls in Purgatory

This novena I said once many years ago. I had a boss once that was giving me a very difficult time and I wanted her conversion not for her sake or even Jesus sake, but for my own. And I said to God I can’t pray for her out of love, but I have nothing against her relatives in purgatory. I offered up a week and I prayed real hard for her relatives in purgatory. She was converted not that long after I said the novena. I waited for a year to see if she would back slide, but she didn’t and she attended daily Mass top everything else off. So I recommend this novena very much.

Holy souls in purgatory, who are the certain heirs of heaven, souls most dear to Jesus and to Mary, obtain for me through your intercession the grace to lead a holy life, to die a happy death and to attain to the blessedness of eternity in heaven.

Holy souls in purgatory, I offer to God on your behalf the merit of all my works and sufferings of this day (week, month, or whatever period of time one wishes to designate).

I ask that once you have been admitted to the beatific vision of God where all pain ceases that you will remember me and grant me the request that I ask of you in this present moment.

I ask that once you have been admitted to the beatific vision of God where all pain ceases that you will remember me and grant me the request that I ask of you in this present moment.

Prayer to Our Lord Jesus Crucified

isW102ZQ1LHeavenly Father; in the holy name of your Son Jesus, crucified for my sins, and in the love of the Holy Spirit, I come very humbly before you, with sorrow for my sins. Through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, which I live as I receive Him in the Holy Eucharist. Lord Jesus crucified; I humbly speak to you, in the Presence of Mary our Blessed Mother. I acknowledge that you suffered so much for me and for all, and that we are indebted to you forever.

Lord; I appreciate very much your sufferings for me and for the rest of humanity. I thank you for saving me through your crushing pain, through your many wounds, through your tiredness and agony and through your Precious Blood shed with so much pain and love for us; through your difficulty to breath, through your sweat and tears, through your merciful patience, through every effort that you made and through your total offering for my sins and for the sins of the whole world.

Lord I complain sometimes when I have a little misfortune, a wound or when I am sick or tired; rejected, despised or prosecuted. But you were covered through your entire body with painful wounds; you were pieced with pain by the crown of thorns, you were stripped of your flesh by the scourging, you were insulted with terrible blasphemies, you were spat upon, you were humiliated, you were inflicted new wounds upon your wounded shoulder by the crushing weight of the cross, you were inflicted more wounds upon your wounds by the brutal stripping of your garments, you were pierced painfully by the nails on the cross, you were hanged upon the cross to bleed painfully to death, you suffered asphyxiation as you found it very painful to breathe, a yet your physical agony was only part of your suffering compared to your spiritual agony because you are God, and your holy soul was sorrowful unto death as you surrendered your life in exchange for our eternal life.

You saw the ingratitude of men for your great sacrifice, and you suffered for the pride of our sins, for the aggressiveness of those whom you created with so much love, for the hatred of men who always receive all your love, if only they come to you.

My Lord Jesus crucified, I come humbly before you, everlasting fountain of healing and life, Powerful source of our Resurrection, food for our souls in the Holy Eucharist, eternal refuge of Divine Light, gate to the Majesty and Glory of the Father and our only hope and salvation.

Divine Merciful Lord, I pray and beseech on behalf of all humanity for your Mercy and compassion, for your healing and blessings and for your Salvation.

Oh Precious treasure from Heaven, you who are hidden to the proud, fill my heart with humility and purity that I may be worthy to receive the promises of everlasting life in your Glory with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

This prayer was composed by Joseph of Jesus and Mary.

Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart

isO Sacred Heart of Jesus, to Thee I consecrate and offer up my person and my life, my actions, trials, and sufferings, that my entire being may henceforth only be employed in loving, honouring and glorifying Thee. This is my irrevocable will, to belong entirely to Thee, and to do all for Thy love, renouncing with my whole heart all that can displease Thee. I take thee, O Sacred Heart for my sole object of my love, the protection of my life, the pledge of my salvation, the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy, the reparation for all the defects of my life, and my secure refuge at the hour of my death. Be Thou, O Most Merciful Heart, my justification before God Thy Father, and screen me from His anger which I have so justly merited. I fear all from my own weakness and malice, but placing my entire confidence in Thee, O Heart of Love, I hope all from Thine infinite Goodness. Annihilate in me all that can displease or resist Thee. Imprint Thy pure love so deeply in my heart that I may never forget Thee or be separated from Thee. I beseech Thee, through Thine infinite Goodness, grant that my name be engraved upon Thy Heart, for in this I place all my happiness and all my glory, to live and to die as one of Thy devoted servants. Amen

Trust in God at all Times

is(11)I find books of Bible Promises can really be helpful. They are small books full of God’s promises that you may need during different periods of your life. I want to concentrate on trust in God, because many Christians get attack with thoughts they are not good enough to go to heaven or be raptured on that great day, when our Lord comes to take us. All God wants is our faithfulness and that includes repentance. Yesterday I wrote down some of the many things I needed to repented off. It started out difficult, thinking will I be sorry enough about my sins, to be forgiven. Then I became confidence that God really forgives so simply and truly wipes away all sins the moment you repent. Once you start God helps, because He sees you are truly making an effort. You do what you can and then God always meets you halfway, and do what you can’t. Here are some beautiful promises of God.

I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. Psalm 13:5

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Psalm 37:5

In God I trust I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 56:11

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. Psalm 118:9

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. Psalm 125:1

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
