Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love prayer for Souls in Purgatory

Mary has told Elizbeth Kindelmann while she was alive to spread the devotion of the Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love Rosary, which you will find amongst the early articles that I wrote. Another short prayer that can be said with the promise it will blind Satan is.

Flood the whole human race with grace from Your Flame of love now and in the hour of our death.

Another prayer Mary has asked us to pray is one Hail Mary during November and it will release ten souls from purgatory any other month you need to say three Hail Mary’s to release one soul from purgatory. So since it is November this is the time to really get start praying it. Not only are we helping souls that no longer can help themselves, but when they arrive in heaven do you think they are going to forget us? They will pray for us until we have arrive to heaven also, out of gratitude.  Love reigns in heaven and gratitude is an expression of love as we all know. So please pray for them.

The Angelus

isVJF7ODZB

V. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.

R. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost. (“Hail Mary” prayer)

V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.

R. Be it done unto me according to thy Word. (“Hail Mary” prayer)

V. And the word was made flesh.

R.  And dwelt among us (“Hail Mary” prayer)

V. Pray for us. O holy Mother of God.

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen

Traditionally was said at 12 noon by religious mostly, but I feel it is an important prayer for all of us to say it. As a reminder of Mary’s important role as the Mother of Our Lord. Her simple faith and courage to be His Mother, is over looked, more and more these days by many Catholics as well as Protestants.

The Chaplet of Our Lady’s Tears

isML02FNOPYou will need the Marian Rosary of 59 beads.

Begin as follows:

Replace the Creed with:

“Crucified Jesus! We fall at Your feet and offer You the tears of her who with deep compassionate love accompanied You on Your sorrowful way of the Cross. Grant, O Good Master, that we take to heart the lessons which the tears of Your most holy Mother teach us, so that we may fulfill Your holy will on earth, that we may be worthy to praise and exalt You in Heaven for all eternity.”

Replace the Our Father’s with:

V. ” O Jesus look upon the tears of her who loved You most on earth,” R. “And loves You most ardently in Heaven.”

Replace the Hail Mary’s with:

V. “O Jesus, hear our prayers,” R. “For the sake of Your holy Mother’s tears.”

At the end of the Chaplet, say 3 times the following:

V. “O Jesus, look upon the tears of her who loved You most on earth,” R. “And loves You most ardently in Heaven.”

Say the following prayers at the end of the Chaplet:

“O Mary, Mother of love, sorrow and mercy, we beg you to unite your prayers with ours so that Jesus, your Divine Son, to Whom we turn may hear our petitions in the name of your maternal tears and may give us in addition to the favours we ask, the crown of everlasting life.” Amen.

Quiet often I do things a little differently. I am on my own, so I just say the V. and the R. by myself. I have never been told personally what V. and R. stands for, but I suppose it is the leader and the follower. Another thing when I said it once, I imagine myself praying with everybody who was asking a favour from Jesus in the whole world. I just believed it made God very happy, so now I do it often. To give somebody who is praying with a little extra help from Mary.

Why asking Mary’s Intercession is so Important?

Luke 1:38. I am the Lords’ servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.

Luke 1: 45. Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfil his promises to her!”

Luke 1: 48. For he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed,

The Road to the Kingdom of Heaven

The road to the Kingdom of Heaven is narrow and straight, but it is also very steep accordingly to St. John of the Cross. Especially when it is so close to the end of Satan’s reign. We have every opposition we can think of trying to get us side tracked from the path that leads us to eternal life. That is a very good reason why we need our Spiritual Mother Mary’s help. It is also very important to Jesus that we ask her help. I have been saying a prayer for years not because I desire to, but because once I said this prayer, Jesus appeared to me in spirit and let me know He wanted me to say it every day and I saw His sadness that Mary His Mother wasn’t given the appreciation that she deserved according to Him. The prayer He wanted me to offer up was honouring her of her death, of what the Holy Trinity (separately) gave her at the hour of her death, by saying one Hail Mary to each Trinity. It wasn’t one of my favourite prayers, but if Jesus tells you that He wants you to do something, then that is what you do. I have read in a book by a visionary many years ago, that Mary had the opportunity to go to heaven without having to die first, because God was so pleased with her life. But because she wanted to follow her Son even in death, she chose to die.

Everybody Has an Important Calling

I have had a funny relationship with Mary over the years, I seem to have runs when I am very close to her and then I seem to forget her. I say all the formal prayers to her, but not always the personal ones like I do with Jesus. When I get closer to Mary she always responds to me in a personal way. Why I do it? I think my Protestant upbringing still haunts me. I get so worried about turning her into a goddess that I back off. Jesus is not saying for us to worship her, but He definitely wants us to honour and esteem her very highly. Just think for one minute, everybody has a special calling that no one can fill our shoes in, including the great saints as well as Mary herself. If we don’t do it, it never gets done. I watched a show on Sid Roth about a guy who went to heaven and told us what Jesus once told him with great sadness, Jesus said He had great plans for children who were aborted, and because they were aborted the world wasn’t moving along as it should. Now if Mary refused to give permission to give birth to Jesus, we would be in a whole lot of trouble. Jesus would not been born. She has had played a very important role in our salvation and Jesus is eternally grateful to her as He is with us when we fulfil our calling. If we will only be humble enough to meditate on it.

Praying to Mary

is(9)When Mary has appeared to me she is very sweet and she has great authority, like you wouldn’t believe, if you have not experience it. Not only is she a wonderful Mother she is exceedingly powerful. The power of course is not her doing, it is the power God has given her, because of her humble obedience to her calling. When I pray to her with all my heart, her response is very instant and she has always helped me in times of trouble, always. When I say I pray to her my Protestants friends would get all in a panic and then I had to explain what I was doing. I pray to her so that she in turns ask her Son on my behalf, and since her Son never says no to her, the prayer is always heard. Now if of course if I ask her to pray for something that Mary knows is against God’s will she is not going to ask her Son for it. It goes without saying.

Let me repeat what St. Bernard says about Mary: “So long as thou thinkest on her, thou wilt remain in the right path. So long as she sustains thee, thou canst not fall. So long as she protects thee, thou hast nothing to fear. If she favours thy voyage, thou shalt reach the harbour of safety without exhaustion.”

If anybody who honours their parents it is going to be Jesus, we cannot question that, because nobody is going to obey the Ten Commandments as well and as faithful as Jesus has. And since we are now Jesus’s brother and sisters we have the same parents as He has, because Jesus has paid the full price for our redemption and we now have all that belongs to Jesus as our inheritance, including His Mother.

Calling on Mary’s Help Makes a Big Difference

I have been learning how to do self-deliverance for some time now and I am improving all the time. I could only cast out little demons at first, now they are bigger ones and so I am noticing a greater improvement on my health because of it. One day I was experimenting casting them out a different way by calling on Jesus name through the Immaculate Conception and that is when I notice a big difference. It also felt like Jesus wasn’t going to miss an opportunity with me, to let me know how much He valued Mary’s role in all of this.

Christians who have been a practising Christian for a while will know this, that we can do nothing without God. We can’t even lift a finger by ourselves without God’s help. When we do a good deed it is by the grace of God, we all know that. The thing about God is He rewards us as if it was all our doing, provided we are humble enough to know it is only through God’s help. When I was a small child my mother would say let’s make a cake today, she did everything. I just stirred the cake mixture a couple of times and I got the credit that I helped my mother make the cake. That is how God works. We get a reward as if it is us, only if we are humble enough to know we can’t do anything without God. He treats Mary the same. It is His power working through her, because she is humble enough to know that she cannot do anything without God. The problem is when some people think it is only her power at work. When they don’t give God the credit that it is His power working through her, that is when things get out of hand. I personally believe only a few fail to recognised the truth of the matter. God has perform many miraculous miracles through her and will always work through her. And many people have come to know Christ through Mary.

No Good Tree Bears Bad Fruit

isVJF7ODZB Luke: 6:43-45   “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of – I was thinking more about why many people including the Protestants seem to believe all the apparitions of Mary as being false and many seem to believe it is from the devil. It is true for sure we have to test out every spirit and that is what the Vatican does constantly. There was a saying in the Catholic Church ‘the quickest way to get persecuted by the Catholic Church is to say that you had a vision.’ You only have to look back at history to see how true this saying is.

Jesus Rocked the Boat

Most saints were given an extremely hard time while they were alive, because the church would not believe them. When the saints were safely buried and out of harm’s way, the church often canonised them. Saints are like Jesus they often rock the boat. People don’t like to be told they are wrong for one thing. They don’t like their spirituality to be upgraded. They want to stay in their comfort zone. If we are to follow Jesus we can’t do that. If we want to stay comfortable, we are going to find that we are on the road to hell not heaven. To follow Jesus you are always climbing to higher places of righteousness. Climbing higher and higher up God’s Mountain is never easy nor comfortable.

1 Corinthians 13:7-8. (Love) always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails – What is the fruit of a believer in Jesus? Love!! Love of God and love of neighbour. Love is not always sweet and mushy. True love will speak out and even correct you if necessary. Because love doesn’t want you to waste your life and it is always wanting the best for you. Love is not weak. Love can be cruel to be kind even. People these days hate discipline more than any other generation in history before it, far as I am concern. The fruit of a true disciple of Jesus is explained to me well in 1 John4:7. Let us love another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Look Closely At the Apparitions of Mary

All these apparitions of Mary if you look closely and honestly you will see the fruit that has been offering to us by her, it is always for us to grow with love of God and our neighbour. If the apparitions were of the devil he would do the very opposite. He would teach us it is OK to be lazy spiritually, so that you will not advance in the Kingdom of God. Mary doesn’t teach laziness, she is telling us to pull up our socks. She is saying pray harder, obey the commandments of God like never before, because your soul and our world depends on it. She approaches everybody with love, she doesn’t encourage vanity or snobbery but humility and love in all her seers. She doesn’t draw people to worship her regardless of what people say, her attention is always bringing us closer to God through her Son Jesus. That is not what the devil would do.

Testing Out the Spirits

If it is the devil all the seers would be proud and educating everybody to take the easy and broad road to hell. Mary teachers us to follow Jesus by the narrow and straight road that only a few find and are willing to travel, because it is a hard and difficult road. Mary doesn’t teach to follow Jesus is going to be easy, she is teaching us not to get too comfortable here on earth as if this is our eternal home. Many people including Christians do live on earth as if we are not going to leave it. How dangerous. All the disciples with the exception of John were martyred to death, because they taught what the religious of the day did not like. What they taught was truth and it didn’t flatter their egos. Satan and all his followers’ uses flattery to get you to do what they want you to do. And so many people fall for it.

We All Need Help

God and His Children including the Mother of Jesus, speaks on the true path to enter the Kingdom of heaven, because they are sincere in wanting you to arrive in God’s Kingdom. People who follow the devil will say what you what to hear, so that they then can win your trust to get you to do what they want you to do and it is always to rob you of your inheritance that God is offering you.  The journey to heaven is not a push over. There are many trials to overcome and we all need to know how to handle these trials. Not one of us can do it on our own. That is why I love and preach the importance of practising the communion of saints so much. We all can do with extra help from the saints who have made it to heaven, they know the way. After all they have arrived!!! When you ask them to help you, they do according to your faith. The more you believe they will intercede on your behalf, the more spectacular the prayer gets answered. Saints are very kind people, because they are in the image of God. They no longer suffer imperfections like we do. They love you more than you love yourself. All of the inhabitants of heaven does. They all do the will of God in heaven, not like earth.

Why Should We Practise Devotions to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

is(9)Mary has appeared so many times before multitudes, performing countless miracles to catch our attention to be serious in serving God, by obeying His commandments and pray without ceasing. She has kept asking us to do acts of self-denial. And she has told us how even good people are not listening to her. The need to pray for the salvations of souls is so urgent. Not that many people have listened to her, they just enjoy the miracles, like it is a side show. Centuries has past and most of us, are still not listening to her. Mary has told the children of Fatima to spread the Devotion of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, because Jesus wants it. Now Jesus has told the prophetess Maria Divine Mercy that we should say the three mysteries a day, which takes about an hour, because of the urgent times we are now living in.

I know a great many people have difficulties in the idea that Jesus actually wants all people including the Protestants to say the rosary every day, but it is simply the truth. Many people try to explain away all these visitations of Mary as if it they are not true apparitions. There was miracles of the sun and everybody there saw it at Fatima. I have watched a show once that two men claimed that what the people really saw was UFO’s ships. It was not like it was the only miracle that had ever happen or the only apparitions that has ever been recorded in history. The evidences that God has left behind some of the apparitions are incredible. Science are at a lost to explain them and yet people do not look into it for themselves and find out about it. I believe if people do it would change how they would see Mary and Jesus’s love for her.

Mary’s Example to Us

I remember one of the times Mary appeared to countless of people, I think it was the Apparitions at Medjugorje, people had rosary beads. The rosary beads that had silver chains turn into true gold and the rosary beads that had gold chains turned into silver chains. There is so many miracles I don’t know why people don’t believe they come from God. God works through all who surrender to Him. Mary’s life example is so humble, faithful, courageous, beautiful and amazing. All Catholics I believe that have a genuine devotion to her or any saint get visitations or communication most of the time, in this day and age. I personally believe only a few wouldn’t, maybe I am wrong I don’t know, but I do know a great many people do receive visitations from Mary, me included. Mary wants to help us if we will only be humble enough to let her.

I have asked her for help so many times and she truly does help. Not long ago I was really praying from my heart for Mary to help me learn humility. Mary said that she will help me, which gave me encouragement no end. Then fairly recently I was saying a novena to Sister Josefa Menendez as well to help me grow in humility and she assured me that I will receive the grace. They do really help out.

The Immaculate Heart will Triumph

Mary told the Fatima children that, ….’In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph.’ This was said in 1917 AD. I have heard that during the Great Tribulation, things are going be so desperate that all denominations of the Christian Faith will unite just in order to survive. The more ammunition you have to use to survive in this war between good and evil the better are your odds. That is why I try to push Mary onto people a great deal. Her prayers strengthens yours. The prayer of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Rosary only takes about 5 minutes to complete. I have an article on it in this blog if you want to have a look at it. It is worth saying this prayer as long as you can. I try to do it an hour at a time.

Prayer is Like Food

I believe a true prayer life is like food. If you only eat cabbage for example you will get sick, to stay healthy you need a variety of different foods. I believe this is true of prayer. There are all sorts of different types of prayers and they are all in urgent need to strengthen your relationship with God and one another. For example there is a time of just rest in the Lord another time to meditate on the word of the Lord and another time to worship and praise and another time I call chit chatting to God and there is a time to intercede for everybody who is in need etc. If is not done from the heart you’ll end up becoming luke warm.

The more you sincerely love God the more you are going to love your brethren in Christ and you will want to help out. This truth doesn’t change just because you go to heaven. You will still want to help out with people who are struggling on earth. Why do people have such a problem with that? You know the earliest prayer to a saint to ask for help to my knowledge was a prayer to St. Joseph. It was found in fifty AD. People of the first Century who knew both Jesus and St. Joseph would of have said this prayer. It is a very powerful prayer, because St. Joseph lived a very holy life on earth. If we do that too our help in heaven will also be very powerful.

The Fifteen Promises for those who recite the Rosary

isPLLWHJ3S

The Fifteen Promises for those who recite the Rosary.

These promises where given to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alain. I love the scriptural rosary best of all. I find I meditate on the mysteries of our redemption a lot better. Some people might object strongly to the ninth promise. It says if we say the rosary we will be delivered from purgatory. Many people think that is unscriptural, which I believe is very unfortunate, because many people are in purgatory longer than they need to be, because their love ones may believe they are safe in heaven. Since they don’t believe in purgatory they are not praying for their love ones release from such a terrible place.

Believe it or not most Christians after death go there, because they do not obey the commandment to love God with all their mind, body and strength. They may love God three quarters some even less, but very few love God with their all. Many visionaries are saying only twenty percent of Christians will met Jesus in the air when He comes for His church. Why only twenty percent, because eighty percent of Christians are basically living to please themselves, not God. And sometimes we don’t have enough faith to really believe God has forgiven us.

In Matthew 18:34 it mentions purgatory, it may not say purgatory, but Jesus is talking about it. Long story short a servant, because he refused to be merciful as his master was to him, was sent to be tortured for his behaviour until he paid the last penny he owed. In other words he was not to get out until he paid all his debt. Hell we know once we go to hell, we do not get out. And there is so many testimonies about people being free from purgatory from somebodies prayers, there is so much evidence if you care to look. I can tell you at least six of my own personal testimonies about purgatory, how my prayers have helped certain people in purgatory.

The thing is people are not always very flexible with their beliefs. They are not always listening to God but human pride. If you come from a different church, especially the Catholic Church, most people are not humble enough to at least look into it and find out from God, if the person is actually saying a truth. It gives Satan’s great pleasure to divided God’s church over and over again, so as to weaken it.

The fifteen promises are

  1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the rosary, shall receive signal graces.
  2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the rosary.
  3. The rosary shall be a powerful armour against hell. It will destroy vices, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
  4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means!
  5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the rosary, shall not perish.
  6. Whoever shall recite the rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, and he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.
  7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
  8. Those who are faithful to recite the rosary shall have during their life and at their death, the light of God and the fullness of His graces, and at them moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.
  9. I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the rosary
  10. The faithful children of the rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven
  11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary.
  12. All those who propagate the holy rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities
  13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
  14. All who recite my rosary are my beloved children, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.
  15. Devotion of my rosary is a great sign of predestination

Catholic are often accused of worshiping Mary. Unfortunately some do, but they completely ignore the ones that don’t worship Mary, but see her as a spiritual Mother. Who has great influence on her Son, because of her faithfulness and complete surrender to Him while on earth? We all have great influence on Jesus if we surrender to Him, some more than others. Not because Jesus loves one more than the other, but simply some pleases Him more than others. The more you live for God, the more powerful your prayers become. Partly because the more you surrender to God your faith levels grow considerably as did Mary’s. Just because you die and then go to heaven, it doesn’t mean you stop working for God. Mary complains to the Fatima Children, ‘why do you keep me so idle.’ God has given her so much power to intercede for us, in other words she really knows the heart of her Son and knows how to pray far better than any of us. If you worship her you are in danger, but if you see her as a great master piece of God, who encourages us to grow in the faith, we too be able to really help out in heaven.

Why Catholics are Taught to Bless Mary

isVJF7ODZBI know a great many Protestants insist that all Catholics worship Mary. Unfortunately some do, but that is not part of the Catholic teaching. You are going astray if you worship Mary. Devout Catholics have a very intimate relationship with Mary. And that can be mistaken as worship. Why does Mary more likely appear to a Catholic than a Protestant. To be truthful Protestant are very nervous of having a relationship with Mary. They are basically been taught that is worship. And that is like a closed door, they will not let Mary enter in their lives. Some may be attracted to her from afar, but they won’t get close to her and so miss out on all that she has as the Mother of Our Lord has to offer them.

Why Ask Mary to Pray on Your Behalf

You might ask what Mary has got to offer you. You will be surprised, the more you honour her the closer she brings you to her Son. Some prayers believe it or not won’t get answered without Mary’s help. She speeds the answer to your prayers quicker than you can realise. Not only is she the Mother of Jesus Christ, she was the greatest Martyr other than Jesus Himself, who is our Saviour. The thing is we are called to be semi-saviours. Jesus has paid the whole price of our redemption, but not everybody has accepted it. So God calls us all to make sacrifices for souls who are lost to Him. This happens only if we unite our suffering with Jesus. It stands to reason we can suffer all we like and not be able to save ourselves never alone somebody else. If you offer yourself up as a victim for God, God quickly accepts it, I know because I did a couple of times and He never says no to that one. Because He is starving for His lost children. He wants them so badly. To help out is costly, but that too brings you much closer to Our Saviour. The more we help out, the greater our faith and love grows for God. So what I am saying, nobody is Marys equal; she has suffered more; love more and has the strongest faith in Jesus than anybody else.

We Call Mary Our Mother

Jesus has given her to us so that we can call her our Mother. It is His gift to us. She is more your mother than your earthly mother. Like Jesus would tell you she suffered more, to give birth to you than your earthly mother did. She has paid a higher price over you. And she loves you far more than your earthly mother does. Mary’s power to help, is God given. She has no power of her own, but because she was faithful in life she now rules in heaven as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. There is a lot of arguments about that. While people argue; Catholics are receiving visions of Mary as Mother and as the Queen of Heaven and Earth, all throughout Christian History. Miracles are happening by turning to her in prayer asking her to intercede on our behalf.

I Was Slow to Accept Mary as Mother

I had a problem accepting Mary as my mother well after becoming a Catholic. I have a favourite book called ‘He and i’ and every time I turn to that book to read, it keep falling on pages that Jesus would say repeatedly ask My Mother. Over and over again, until I got fed up and so I said “All right!” I have been praying this certain prayer for years and years when I asked Mary  I got a ‘yes’ straight away. She spoke to me and she was closer to me than I was to myself. So close that it scared me and she spoke so loudly and her voice was crystal clear and very beautiful. Many and many people will give testimony to Mary’s response to prayer.

Luke 1:48. For he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant, from now on all generations will call me blessed.

is2C12MD3ZAll the old churches that claim to be started by a disciple do bless Mary and honour her, it is just the Protestant that think it is a form of worship.

Consecration to Jesus and Mary

My favourite prayer book has a prayer that I am just started saying. It is a prayer of consecration to Jesus Christ, The incarnate wisdom, through the Blessed Virgin Mary. I have had this book for about forty years. I kept away from this prayer, because you are offering yourself to Jesus and Mary as their slave. I didn’t have any problems calling myself a servant but I had great problems humbling myself an acknowledging that I am a slave first. God raises the humble. If you want to be great in Heaven than you have to consider yourself the least. So I am just starting to be comfortable with the word slave. Since I have been saying it I am getting even closer to Mary. I feel she is helping me even more.

One paragraph I really like goes like this; O admirable Mother, present me to thy dear Son as His eternal slave, so that as He has redeemed me by thee, by thee He may receive me! O Mother of mercy, grant me the grace to obtain the true Wisdom of God; and for that end receive among those whom thou lovest and teachest, or whom thou leadest, nourishes and protectest as thy children and thy slaves.

When we say things like grant us grace or wisdom or whatever we are saying pray for us so that we may receive these things. We are not saying she has the ability by herself to provide for us. We believe she has great influence on her Son. Jesus finds her irresistible, He can’t resist her request. Jesus has said this to many visionaries.

The Case for Mary

Exodus 20:12 “Honour your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

We are told we only have to obey Two Commandments, which is to Love God with all your might and love your neighbour as yourself. What a great many Christians do not realise that when you obey the Ten Commandments you are obeying the Two that Jesus has given us. The Ten Commandments explains the Two Commandments in detail. Now if anybody has obeyed the Ten Commandments well, it is going to be Jesus Himself.

Now one of the Commandments from God is to ‘honour your father and your mother.’ We all take it for granted that Jesus honoured His Father in Heaven, but how many stop and think how He also honoured His Mother Mary. I believe it is very important to reflect on this. Jesus is our role model. He is the door, we cannot enter heaven without going through the door which is Jesus Christ. We are all called to imitate Him in every detail.

Try To picture Being A Parent of Jesus

Now try to imagine you are either Saint Joseph the foster father of Jesus or Mary, Jesus Mother depending what sex you are. You have known Jesus from birth, you are always in His Company. You cannot escape His presence, He is always there before you. He lives with you, He works with you, and He eats with you and so on. Now surely all that He is! that beautiful nature of Jesus that you are witnessing all day long, has to rub onto you. You know for yourself the company you keep continually you become. So it is very important to choose friends wisely that they are the people you would like to be.

I do not believe that Saint Joseph and Mary were ordinary people, because they would have absorbed Jesus’s Spirit by just being His parents. We also know the more we think of Jesus, the more we live in His presence the more our own natures changes, we become more Christ like by the day. How much more that would be the case for Saint Joseph and Mary. Jesus depended on them like any child depends on their parents. It is very clear in the bible that Saint Joseph and Mary loved Jesus with their whole heart. If that was not so why would they have searched for Him high and low in Jerusalem for three days and when they finally found Him in the temple, they were overwhelmed when they saw Him. They were so relieved as any parent who loves their child would.

Mary Knows Her Son Jesus Well

Now I will go one step further, Mary understood Jesus’s heart so well as only a mother could. She knew He could not say no to her, because she knew what kind of person He was. She knew her Son. In the book of John 2: 3-10 gives you a glimpse of that. The wedding at Cana. Mary comes up to her Son and says ‘they have no more wine.’ And Jesus replies ‘Woman, why do you involve me? My hour has not yet come.” Mary ignores what her Son says and turns to the servants and says to them “Do whatever He tells you.” Then Mary goes off and Jesus immediately fulfils Mary, His Mother’s request. She knows her Son. She knew He would do it, because she knew how beautiful His heart works, more than anybody else would have ever done.

Now we know that we all have received all the authority and power Jesus has gain for us on His Cross and through His Resurrection. We know the more we believe in Him the more we have access to that authority and power. We know that Jesus will answer our prayers accordingly to how much we believe in Him and in the way we believe. So what I am saying here is, everybody is at different levels of believing in Him. So everybody is at different levels of demonstrating Jesus in their lives. Mary I believe has the greatest faith of all and then Saint Joseph I believe comes second to that faith. And their love matches up to their faith.

Communion of Saints

I really believe in the communion of saints. We think nothing of going to our friends or loves ones when we are in trouble and ask them to pray for us, but for some reason many people seem to think it is impossible to hope for people who are now in heaven to pray on our behalf. People who lived faithfully to God during their stay on earth until the end and are now safely a resident of heaven, these people I believe are now in a far greater position to pray and help us. With even greater results than all the friends and love ones here with us on earth, who have still yet to prove they will remain faithful to the end.

People in heaven would have even a greater need to help us, because they can see the whole picture through the eyes of Christ, far better than any of us here on earth. Protestants have no problems believing in angels helping them, but are not able to believe in their loves one or people who have lived outstanding lives such as Mary the Mother of Jesus can help them. They even think it is wrong for us to ask them. They confuse praying to Mary as worshiping Mary which is not the case at all. Praying is just another word for communicating as in asking or interceding.

One of Marys great cry to the Fatima children was ‘why do people keep me so idle.’ In other words she has been given by God so much power through her gift of intercession , but she cannot use it until we ask her to use it on our behalf. God cannot help us either if we do not ask Him for help. This is one of God’s rules.

Mary Is Our Spiritual Mother

All that belongs to Jesus belongs also to us. This includes His own Mother. Jesus is our brother and therefore Mary is also our Mother, is the way I see it. Matter of fact it would be a lie for me to say I think Mary is my Mother, because I know she is. Like so many people throughout the world I have called on her for help and she has never failed me. In life and death situations I have called on her to pray for me and she has always got me through.

I have been very blessed. My first visitation of God was when I was eight years old. I was a Protestant at that time. On my mother side they were all Catholics and were religious. My father was Protestant and his side of the family were not religious. I remember talking to my Grandmother on my mother’s side saying ‘I do not see the point in asking saints to pray for me, I rather go to the top.’ Meaning God. My grandmother agreed. So in my family there was no talk about the importance of the communion of saints, because we all prayed to the top.

When I became a the Catholic I was twenty three years old. Not long after my conversion to the Catholic faith, I went into a Catholic book shop and I asked God like I mostly do, to help me find a book that He wanted me to read. There was a table full of books on Mary’s life, and I knew that was where God wanted me to go and I did not want to. I did not want to buy a book on Mary and there was a fight on. I eventually gave into God very reluctantly and said to Him ‘now I am going to find a book I want to read.’

God Wanted Me To Learn About Mary

Now nearly forty years later ‘what book do you think stays in my mind? The book I chose for myself or the book God wanted me to read? I know you know the answer to that one already. The book God chose for me changed my life. The book God chose me to read was written by a saint who had the gift of seeing into the past and she wrote a book on Mary’s life. By the time I finished that book I was not at all surprise why she was so honoured in the Catholic Church. My relationship with her still would not of been as close as God would want it, but it started. Since that day I started to have visitations of Mary as well as Christ.

Mary always brings you to her Son Jesus, she never expects us to worship her. If we did started to worship her we would immediately get into trouble with her. She has clearly come to me as my mother many times and she has also other roles too and I know she loves me so powerfully. Like all mothers she has only to give you that look and you know that you have done wrong, you know exactly what you should do, because when she gives you that look, you do feel the fear the Lord your God, in your heart and you do kneel before God in repentance. Because Mary does protect her children when they are going the wrong way and leads them straight back to God. And she has protected me from countless of demon attacks for over twenty years. She has never failed me once. I believe I have a responsibility to share this with you. I know many will not like it, but it is very important to God that I do.
