Love One Another

God has just told me today to teach on how to love our neighbour. God has never done this to me before. So I hope I can, through His Spirit show how I do it. I am still growing in this of course. But first I want to explain we often think of loving one another as having sweet and warm feelings about another. To my understanding of love, sometimes we don’t have nice feelings towards that person, but rather a true desire that they are out of pain for e.g. and we wish them well and not grudge them anything good. Sometimes there is a warm nice feeling, but usually that feelings is often to people you know well and they in turn love you. Loving your enemy is so much harder, because of our human nature wants to get back even with them. When I first started to learn to love my enemies I found it almost impossible. Of course God is not finish with me yet. As you know there are different degrees of love. To love like Jesus is infinite. So that we are growing to love more as we come closer to God.

One time I ask God ‘the saints must of hated people sins too, how did they manage to love them?’ God showed me they did, but they loved the person, despite of their sins. If I am finding it difficult, I think of them as when they first arrived in this world. As a baby we were all beautiful, loveable and just wanted to be loved in return. Then the world got to us. Christ teaches us how to handle it. But if you don’t have Jesus to guide you or refuse to let Jesus guide you, we respond by being angry with everybody, blaming everybody for what happened to us, general speaking. I have been there, where I couldn’t trust anybody. If somebody was kind to me, I wanted to know what the real reason for their act of kindness was.

When I can see everybody has been created beautifully and their meanness often comes from pain or ignorance or lack of help on how to deal with it, my heart softens. Also knowing God loves them passionately and wants them to know His love for them and save them, softens my heart even more towards them. Also knowing they could be converted in the future sometime, and become a better Christian than I am, humbles me. Praying for them and blessing them, doesn’t matter how hard it is also softens me and leads me into forgiving them. Praying for them does wonders if you put your whole heart into it. I am learning to let go of my pride just like everybody else, but if I do these things I get results.

I heard and explanation once from Jesus by another person and something similar by a saint explaining how precious we are and beautiful we really are. The explanation goes like this, a stature made of gold and dirt covered all over it. We can’t see the golden stature, but when it is washed we then can see the perfect gold stature. The dirt represents our sins that everybody sees, but underneath all that there is a beautiful image of God waiting to be seen. It wasn’t said in those exact words, but you get the picture. We are so beautiful to God that our sins are nothing if we ask God for forgiveness. He will wash our sins away with the blood of Jesus. So knowing that makes you want to do the right thing by people and God.

I have seen people that have changed dramatically after God has touched them and it gives me hope. I was told by God to treat your enemies with respect. That way they might have a chance to be saved. I am finding people I don’t click with, have warmed up to me by simply accepting them as they are without judging them. God has put it into my heart to give them a jar of jam that I made, and it has brought me closer to people I would not normally feel comfortable with.

So these are some ideas some people might like to try. Jesus teaches us in Matthew chapter five how we ought to treat one another. And it works. We just have to learn to swallow our pride and obey Him. Practices makes perfect. We always get rewarded by obeying Him.

God doesn’t have opinions – He is all knowing

We fail many times as children of God to believe in Gods’ wisdom. We should not rely on our own understanding as the bible teaches us. Many people including Christians believe even without knowing it, think they are wiser, smarter and more compassionate than God. You only have to look at the fruit they bear. We listen to too many so called experts that teach the opposite from what Jesus teaches. Many Christians share the same beliefs as the people of the world. So much so they look like people of the world. – they think, talk, act and dress like them, listen to the same corrupt music as they do and have the same morals too. They are no different. We are called as Christians to be in the world, but not of the world. There is something so different about people who take Gods’ words seriously and live by them.

Jesus warns that the people of the world are going to hate those who follow Him. Who truly follow Jesus will resemble Jesus. They will think, act and talk and do as Jesus does ,not what the world does. That doesn’t mean they won’t make mistakes and fall some times. The difference is they repent and mean it, quickly after a fall. They are always striving to be perfect as their Father in Heaven is perfect.

Man has opinions about what the bible is saying many times, and those opinions can change. The only thing you can do is to test every spirit and pray on it and ask God to reveal the truth to you. Look at the fruit it bears, does it bring you closer to God in all humility and love of God, or does it fill you with pride.

It doesn’t matter how anointed we are, we are not God, and when we rely on our own understanding we always get it wrong. We are made righteous only by His Spirit not ours. So we are incapable of any good thought without Gods’ Spirit aiding us. So how can we become wise without God. We need to know what Jesus teaches and apply it, and ignore and preach against what the world teaches. What is not of God is of the devil. We are either for or against Him. We either obey or disobey God.

The Confusion in Churches about Works

The Confusion in Churches about Works

Dear friends the confusion in the church about works is because we need the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and give us revelation from the Holy Bible. Too many times we try to figure things out by our own understanding. We read a passage many times over again and not see what it is saying until God hits us with His light. Look at the way works is being presented as illegal in many churches. As if the Bible says so, which isn’t true. Jesus did works. He even said so in the book of John.

John 14:12. Verily, Verily, I say to you, he that believes on Me, the works, that I do, shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to My Father.

Jesus tells us upfront that we will do greater works than He did if we believe on Him. That is a straight forward message we hear over and over again without taking it in. Jesus is talking about works as a good thing. Works doesn’t get you saved, only by believing in Jesus and actually obeying Him. The only way to be a true believer is to obey His teachings.

There have been many reports on people entering heaven and they come back to life and share their experience there. One person I listen to, said that there are many people in heaven that don’t have a mansion. They live in the fields, because they didn’t do anything on earth that deserved to get a home. They are all happy in heaven, some more than others, depending on how well they served God on earth. This person was told there were seven things that were like bricks for your home in heaven to be built. They were, how many times you worshiped, praise, tithe, read the Bible, evangelise to another, praying to God and I am sorry, but I forgot the seventh one. But you can guess it was probably to do with doing good deeds or something similar.

Good deeds or works (another way of saying the same thing), doesn’t get you to heaven because it is written in the Bible our good deeds are like filthy rags to God. We get to heaven by believing in Jesus has paid the price for our sins on our behalf, then by following Him. Which is to obey Him. Good deeds or works makes way for our promotions in heaven. We get rewarded by doing good works that please God. We just can’t sit around and believe in Jesus and do nothing. We were made to work in my opinion. If we don’t busy ourselves in pleasing God, we turn to sin that leads us straight to hell.

Revelation 22:13. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

Another verse that we hear often, but don’t put two to two together. According to this verse we get rewarded for our works. So I hope this article helps people understand doing good deeds is the same as doing good works and we are expected to do them out of love for our Heavenly Father and one another.

God wants us to pray

God answers our prayers most powerfully depending on our faith, but also whatever agrees with His nature, His will. If we pray the Lords’ prayer, it has to be answered, because Jesus has taught it to us. So if we have a closer look at the Lords’ prayer, it begins to acknowledge our relationship with our Heavenly Father, unlike any father on earth. Our Father is so powerful, and we need to acknowledge to ourselves that God is able to answer our prayers. And is also willing to answer our prayers, if it gives Him glory. So we have to look closely at our motives behind our prayers. Are we praying from a humble, repented heart? Is our prayer free from selfishness? Are we willing for God to say no sometimes and trust Him that He has a better plan for us?

It is important to pray for other people besides ourselves. We can truly save people from the fires of hell, if we pray for them. Not many Christians do that. If they pray it is just to get themselves and their families out of trouble. We can do great mighty things through prayer. And we don’t even have to go outside of our homes to do it. Plus we be rewarded for it, for all eternity. There are many people you may want to help, but not in the position to do so, but your prayers can enter in.

Many people think it is more important to do works that help people hands on. But prayer is even more important, it is more versatile than what you can do. I remember once I watched a T.V. program discussing the difficulties of foster care. Many children are so disturbed they play up with their foster parents dramatically, because they can’t trust. I remember, light dawned on me as I was watching this program. I said to God that’s why we pray and God zoomed in with great joy and confirmed it. Sometimes it is only the power of prayer that can turn things around. Not because we are powerful, but because we win the Heart of God and He acts on our prayers, if they are from the heart. The deeper the prayer is from the heart, the purer it is. God wants more prayers said, so that the angels of God can do their mighty works.

I am surprise even to find so manty Christians, have forgotten God in their life. So much so they don’t even think of praying for their own needs to be met. Never alone their church, their county and all the peoples of the world that they could help by their prayers. We have to practise praying for Gods’ Kingdom to come and believe it will. We are all members of the body of Christ and we all have to do our bit. If we don’t, people suffer that otherwise wouldn’t have to, if we did our part. Whether it is physically hands on or praying for them. We are called to do both. It keeps us balanced. Those who are specially chosen for intercessory prayers, I believe are sadly misunderstood as wasting their time or over the top saying prayers. Prayers I believe is more important than works. For one thing it strengthens our relationship with God. You must be filled with the Holy Spirit of God before your good deeds resemble Christ. And you do that by having a loving relationship with God and living the life that pleases God.

Jesus use to prayer through the night and preach and do good works through the day. Jesus didn’t abandon a prayer life. And God told me that three hours a day is the minimum of hours for a prayer life. Not everybody is called to concentrate on a prayer life, but we are all called to pray for one another and worship God. The greater our relationship with God through prayers and acts of brotherly love, the greater our eternal reward will be.

You are His child, your prayers matter to God. Yes He will answer your prayers according to His Will. Find out what is His Will for you. Ask Him! if He doesn’t answer straight away, persevere with your prayer until He does. God does test your faith sometimes and your stamina. And if you past the test He will strengthen your faith and your perseverance even more so.

For those who need Deliverance

We all have a destiny to fulfil and Satan and his followers are doing their best to block out your destiny from eventuating. I have been watching and praying and declaring with Robert Clancy for deliverance on YouTube. I am intending to do it every day as long as it takes for me to be free of all my bondages. Christians are often embarrassed that they are in bondage. Thinking people may think that others will consider them as evil. We are all sinners it’s that simple. People who think they are not in bondage are probably the ones that need deliverance the most. The chains Satan puts on us are easily done. Prolong agony, fear, grief, worries etc. can open doors to strongholds that let Satan bind us.

I am no expert on this subject, but I sure would love to be free of fear of people and other things. I would love to be able to have the confidence to get into my car and just drive where ever I wish. There is so much fear in people’s lives, we need deliverance from it. And if you are like most people who belong to a church that doesn’t set the prisoners free or know anyone who can help you, I suggest to go to YouTube and go to the sites that will do deliverance on air. I find once is not enough for me. I get delivered a little each day. It might take years, but I want to be free of all bondages, so that I can help others find God and see them set free too.  We all have gifts to give others and it is not always money.

Not many Christians want to be transparent, because we are all expected to be strong or at least look like it. The truth of the matter is in our struggles that is where we learn to become compassionate to other people. We become more understanding and more able to help others with their difficulties, because we admit we have or had the same or similar trials that face them. We then can explain how we were delivered from them through believing in Jesus Christ. The internet can be used in a most positive way and help people who are isolated from true believing Christians and you can belong to their community as well.

We are victorious in Jesus alone, but if we solely look to the world for answers we will get into worse state than we are already in. Sometimes our healing comes slowly, because we need training on compassion, forgiveness, love or faith etc. We need to follow Jesus more closely and as we do this, we will receive blessings untold, by God. When I have stepped out in faith I have seen miracles happen in my life and you will too.

Run to God

How many times do we run to the world looking for comfort, truth and answers to our problems instead of running to God who comforts and gives us the right answers.

I ran to the world just recently. My beautiful dog had to be put down. I have had breakdowns in the past and doctors will tell you, you don’t ever fully recover from them, unless it is a miracle of God of course. But here I am at the vets trying to compose myself. After it, I went to the shops to buy cake to help me overcome the grief, which of course didn’t work. Then I turned to God. Long story short I imagine Mindy happy in heaven getting all the love and attention she wanted. I feel so sorry for people who believe once you are dead you are dead forever. Because for one thing it isn’t true. I like so many other people, have had relatives comforting me after their bodies died. It is one of my greatest comforts to know they are alive and far more alive and happy than we are. And that we will meet again.

I chose to stick to my routine as much as possible and I believe that helps, plus constantly believing she is so happy being in the presence of God for a whole eternity. I did get a vision however from God many years ago. I saw her swimming in love. Why I got the vision years ago and not now, I am not certain, but I think it was because God knew that one day I will have to do the brave thing and put her down.

If you have a love one that pass away and you are not sure you will meet again, because of their lifestyle or simply their unbelief in God, I heard two different prophets say after death there is a small window where the person can repent. So that many people who would otherwise not gone to heaven, do. And I remember a story of a saint who didn’t believe this person made it to heaven because of the life style she lived. She was rebuked by the person who had died. She said to the saint I was at hells gate and I repented and God forgave me. So when I past a cemetery I always pray for the dead just in case.

God then gave me a beautiful strong feeling of peace. People were upset for me and so I told one of them about the peace I received. And she thought it was so beautiful, because she knows how precious our pets are to us. So run to God and He does comfort us, but we have to help ourselves also. Choose to be happy for that person or pet. It’s good to have a good cry, it is healthy and helps with the healing.

You think the grief is never going to end. But if you call on God for healing and stay in your routine as much as possible, you will find strength and peace and healing. Remember they at home now and we are still on our journey there. Our beautiful home with Jesus and loves ones are waiting for us.

I really love animals and my own especially. Faith in God will turn things around. Sadness at first and then joy and peace follows, if we really believe in God. God will intervene. The world doesn’t have the answers or the power to do what only God can do. Don’t get me wrong the support we get from one another is so critical. We need each other. God works through us and we can make a difference. But we have to remember we lean on God first and then praise God for the people He sends to help us. It does take time to readjust, especially if it a person we are grieving over. Gods’ love is a consuming fire for each and every one of us. The more we believe the more we see God’s hand in our lives. I am still recovering. It has only been a week ago, but I am recovering with my Saviour in mind. I hope you will too. God will help us if we let Him.
