Listening to Gods’ Voice

Prayer sometimes requires an action as well. Sometimes Gods’ answers a prayer suddenly without warning and other times we have to wait. But what I have learnt, and it has taken me years that God wants us also to contribute some action before the prayer is fully answered in many cases. For example at the moment I am praying to become more obedient to God. So my action is trying to become more aware when the Holy Spirit has put a thought in me to do or not to do something.

Instead of treating my thought as if they are all mine, I want to be alert when it is God speaking to me. And if a thought comes to me that is an instruction from the Holy Spirit I want to be aware of it. So that I won’t treat it as if it is an optional thing to do or not. I have discovered over the years not all my thoughts are mine. The devil puts thoughts into our minds as well as the Holy Spirit. And I am still learning to discern. I write them down and try to work it out from there. God is talking to us all the time, so are the devils. So when a thought now comes to me to do that extra kind thing or eat less than I was planning too, I have to be more alert as where these thoughts are coming from. If they are from God then I have to learn to obey.

It is easy to know to obey the Commandments, but when a thought comes to you like do the washing up now. I might say I do it later, then later comes and it will be put aside again. That’s what I am talking about. If it is God talking then I have to learn to obey promptly and not put it off. It will be a new challenge for me. I know the more we respond to Gods’ Spirit the more sensitive we become to hearing Him. And if we obey we will be truly be blessed by Him. To disobey we lose out.

There books on how to discern your thoughts from the thoughts that come from God or the devil. I got mine from Sids Roth on-line store years ago. I think we kind of know the thoughts that come from the devil. They are either condemning us or inviting us to sin. Gods’ voice might be harder to recognize in that they are usually gentle, kind, uplifting thoughts. We tend to think we don’t deserve them and it us being egoistic.

The thoughts that come to you that just flow are supernatural. Our own thoughts are deliberate, we plan them. It takes practice to discern where they come from. They might only be a few words at a time that is how it happens to me often. First you have to quieten yourself down. I always try to write them down. I find it is easier that way. It is advisable to have a person or two to check it out to see if you are discerning correctly. I have been told to do silly things, thinking it was from God, but in fact was from the devil. For example, to sell my car and I don’t have enough money to replace it and where I live I need a car. This happened to me. God in His goodness protected me, nobody was interested in buying it. So be careful. It is tremendously rewarding if you plan to learn how to discern the thoughts that come to you. You get to know God better and know He truly loves you. Gods’ voice becomes clearer the more we listen to it. It will develop over time.

Onward Christian Soldiers

Onward Christian Soldiers, was one of my favourite hymns when I was young. I remember at church the minister had problems getting us to sing at all. A lot to do with the high notes of the many hymns of that day that we couldn’t reach. I remember it wasn’t just my favourite, but the whole church would sing it confidently on top of our voices. One of my favourite verses of that hymn is;

Like a mighty army moves the church of God. Brothers we are treading where saints have trod before. We are not divided all one body we. One in hope and doctrine and one in charity.

We are in the last hour of the last day, which I think many of us realise by now. And there will never be a time in history like what we about to step into. My prayer is that we will all become the most courageous saints that has ever walked this earth. Because we are going to need courage to do the will of God in these days. We will be hated for our faith. Many of us will be treading where the saints have trod before and some I believe even greater still. Because God is doing a new thing according to the modern prophets of today.

We need to praise God as often as we can and if possible sing uplifting songs that move our spirit in true worship. When we make a habit of speaking or singing life into our lives, it will strengthen us in the battle against Satan and the troubles we are currently in and that of the future. God is more likely to answer prayers more powerfully to those who praise God the most. We have to remember it is not a religion God wants, but a loving relationship with Him.

I had a dream from God when I was young that Satan’s army was on the left side, violent with all the things of a nasty evil war. What I saw on the right side was God’s army all singing praises to God. Jumping up and down with great joy and worshiping God.
Nehemiah 8:10. The joy of the Lord is your strength.

When we put our minds on the goodness of God, God responds not only with His presence, but with His power. Prayer and praising God is so powerful a tool against the enemy that is all we have to do at times. God is quiet able to defeat the army of Satan by Himself, but He wants us to share in the victory. And we do that by praising Him, glorifying Him, worshiping Him, and being obedient to His will and then the result will be, you become a powerful overcomer for God. Victorious warrior in Christ Jesus army.

Luke 6:23. Be happy! Yes, leap for joy! For a great reward awaits you in heaven.

True followers of Christ in the last days will be hated by the world, and by many people who call themselves Christians that are not truly following Jesus will hate us too. Back to the dream I had, the thing is not only was God’s army giving God praise they were of one accord. No two Christians are going to agree on everything, but we can be united by obeying God’s Commandments, which is love.

John 13:34-35. “So now I am giving you a new commandment; love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples.”

God’s word is not to be tampered with. And when God has truly got you to correct somebody, you do it out of the love for God and the person you have been told to correct. You know when God is telling you to do so, He puts it in your spirit. What I have noticed and I believe many of you also have found, many people don’t want to hear the truth unless it pleases them.

In an army the soldiers have to obey their officers and we have to obey Jesus who is our commander. The Bible explains clearly the will of God and how to obey Him. So there is a genuine war going on between good and evil. People are twisting the truth knowingly to suit themselves, on one hand, and on the other there are Christians with different doctrines that genuinely love God. Jesus tells us how to discern a true prophet from a false one, by their fruits. In other words are they obeying the commandment of love or not? Love is not always lovely dovey. Love can correct a person, because they genuinely want that person saved, but before you go ahead and correct someone, make sure it is Gods’ will for you to do so. A lot of times it is best to agree to disagree or simply turning the other cheek. Humility has to be present also. Many people unfortunately just want to be right and cause division through self-righteousness.

The hymn Onward Christian Soldiers is one of my favourites, because it assures me we are victorious in Christ Jesus. I sing it most days, not long after I get out of bed. My voice is horrible but I love to sing, especially praise and worship songs. The hymn strengthens my faith and it makes me joyful that I belong to such a powerful army of God, who will help usher in the Kingdom of God on earth. I love all the verses of that hymn, but I just write one more verse down to remind us we are supposed to be united not divided.

Onward then ye people join our happy throng. Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song. Glory, praise and honour unto Christ the King. This through countless ages men and angels sing.

The chorus
Onward, Christian soldiers! Marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus, going on before.

I Pray for Unity for Protestant and Catholics

I am grateful to God that I was born into a family, approximately for four generations of Protestants and Catholics marrying one another. By the time my mother’s turn, to marry my father who was a Protestant, she learnt to balance the difference with love. Love is the commandment of God. To love one another as Christ loves us. How did Christ loves us, He laid down His life for us and we are to do the same for each other. I grew up seeing both sides of the same coin and I respect both Protestants and Catholics – that genuinely follow Jesus. You know by the fruits if somebody is in love with Jesus or not. And there is some very beautiful people in both churches that follow Jesus closely. The problem is most Protestants and Catholics are not sure of one another’s faith, due to upbringing mostly.

There is a great deal of corruption playing out in both churches. Satan is really attacking openly now. I believe especially with the Catholic Church. It has been prophesised by a Catholic prophetess (Maria Divine Mercy) that the current pope is the false prophet from the bible. Long before any of the Protestants prophets had. I bringing this up so that you understand true Catholics are not happy how the church is going under the leadership of this pope. And people with kind hearts should be praying for them and not criticizing them, that God will use the genuine souls of Christ, gloriously through these hard times. We should be praying for protection to all Christians.

I want to clarify a few Catholics beliefs. Most people who say they are Christians are lukewarm, they have itching ears. They take out of the bible what they want to believe and discard the rest. A true Christian whether a Protestant or a Catholic reads the whole bible as the word of God and not to change it in any way as this pope has done. I have been told by another, that a women purchased a Catholic bible under this pope’s leadership and the Ten Commandments have been changed. The prophetess Maria Divine Mercy had prophesised this long ago would happen. That the church will be unrecognisable, it will changed so much. It will go pagan under this pope direction. The true Catholics are going through deep sorrow of what is taking place. And it has been prophesised that a purer and holier Catholic Church will arise from all this chaos.

I pray every day for unity between Protestants and Catholics and a greater understanding between the two churches. I also pray that Protestants will have a greater appreciation of Mary, because she deserves it. She is our Mother, because she is part of the inheritance that Jesus gave us. Everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to us. He is our brother and so we now are adopted into His family. Father and mother included. I believe Protestants miss out a lot by not honouring her that much. I heard an interesting lecture on the times when in the bible the Jewish people had kings. The king’s mother held the most dominate position in his kingdom, not the wife of the king, but his mother. I believe that also applies to heaven.

I know Catholics have a danger of worshiping Mary, but it is not part of their religion to do so as many people think. Like Protestants, a true Catholic worships God only and uses statues to help meditate on. Many Protestants believe the rosary beads are cursed. I know that is not true. Most Protestants haven’t sat down and do research work on what Catholics actually believe in, written by a true Catholic. The Hail Mary prayer are short prayers honouring Jesus conception. While the short prayer of Hail Mary being said they meditate on Jesus birth, ministry, death and resurrection. It is a powerful tool that Satan doesn’t want anybody to know about or use for Gods glory.

The Hail Mary prayer is simply. Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you, bless are thou among women and bless is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Mother of God worries many Protestants, but what Catholics are saying is Jesus is also God, second person. They are not referring to Our Heavenly Father or the Holy Spirit as many Protestants think. Blessing and honouring Mary is biblical.

Luke 1:48. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant, for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

Luke 1:42. Then she spoke with a loud voice and said. “Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb!

Protestants rarely bless or give her honour. They tend to say she was just an ordinary teenager. A ordinary teenager would not be spiritually strong enough to take on the role of raising Jesus or protecting Him from His enemies, or even having the faith to be conceived a child the way it was done to her.

In this article I can’t write down all the things I would like to. I am hoping it will make a big difference to some of you, how you think towards Catholics and Protestants. I wish we would all get along with one another and learn from one another as well. Both churches may interrupt parts of the bible differently. But people of both churches, hearts are for God and God is who we love, adore, obey and truly worship. Pray for unity in the body of Christ. It needs healing badly and it breaks Gods heart to see a Christian solider fighting another Christian solider. I have learnt much from Catholics and Protestants and I believe I have been blessed because I have studied the wisdom that has come out of both churches. No two Christians think alike. They have different experiences and learn at a different rate.

Let’s us image for a while, when the body of Christ is untied, restored and full of wisdom and respect, and love for each other, regardless of what church you belong to. Because we listen to the Holy Spirit and learn to discern the bible in unity with God’s Spirit, instead of fighting one another, as if we have all the answers. What would it look like to the out-sider looking in! Will they see the world in us or will they see Christ. His love and mercy and wisdom and power.

Lukewarm Souls

Jesus told a person on YouTube, that the lukewarm souls will be the hardest people to reach, because they think they are on fire for God, but are not. I know once God told me I was complacent and I was surprised, because I thought I was really committed to God. So now I pray all the time to be red hot for God. I don’t want to be spewed out of His mouth, like it is written in the Bible, that He will do this to those who are neither hot nor cold, but lukewarm.

Being comfortable is not a good place for a Christian to be in. We need to stretch ourselves every day in serving God. Disciplining ourselves, doing the will of God out of love for Him and going that extra mile, will keep us on our toes. If you feel like you are in a rut, then I believe you might be lukewarm, because when you are madly in love with somebody, that’s all you think about, is that person you are in love with, with fire. That’s exactly how we are to feel about God. So we need to pray with all our strength, doesn’t matter how weak it is, but pray with all our strength to God, that we are completely sold out to Him. I believe most of us, try to serve two masters. One being God and the other god we bow down to is ourselves. We need to pray that God opens our eyes to where we fail Him every day, so that we can pled for forgiveness, and ask Him to redirect our paths that please Him.

Pride is a big problem for most people. It blinds us of the truth. People get offended when they are told they are sinners. To a Christian it should be common knowledge. We are all sinners. Jesus died on the cross, because none of us are worthy on our own merits to go to heaven. Jesus paid the full price of our sins, so that we can enter heaven by His righteousness. There are two types of sinners. One that is not repented and does not recognised Jesus as their saviour and the other is repented from a sincere humble heart, and put their faith in Jesus gift of salvation.

To really believe in Jesus, we will follow Him and obey Him with all the strength and love we can. Jesus tells us, He will forgive us seventy times seven to the repented sinner. So to prevent ourselves from being lukewarm, we should examine ourselves every day and repent the moment we recognise we have sinned. In my opinion most churches are in a rut and are lukewarm. They may be nice people who love God, but they are not on fire for Him. God is a jealous God. He wants all of us, not eighty percent of us. We think if we give of ourselves eighty percent we are doing well and that God should be satisfied with that. But the commandment is, to love God with all our strength and might.

Matthew 22:38-40. Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment and the second is like it. ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the Prophets.

We have to press in every day of our lives to God. Once isn’t enough. We have to seek Gods face all the time and in all situations we find ourselves in. We have to pray in earnest that we are sold out to God completely. Putting Him first before anybody else, including family members, careers, finances, our health and our will. Praying is so important and many people won’t pray enough, and that is their downfall. You must have a loving relationship with God. God wants a relationship with us, not a religion. How can we have a relationship with God, if we don’t talk to Him as we would, with somebody, we are always thinking lovingly of? God wants to be number one in our lives. If He is not number one in your life, pray, pray, and pray for the grace to make it so. And He will answer favourably, because you are praying for His will for you. He always says yes to His will to be done.

Self-Deliverance

There are some good books on the subject of self-deliverance that will help anybody who is interested in giving it ago. If the problem is of a serious nature than you need to go to a person who is gifted in exorcism. I believe every born again Christian can do self-deliverance with some training. One book I recommend is called “Unmasking the Devil” by John Raminez. He use to serve Satan and is now working hard to free people of the bondage from evil spirits. He is now in love with His Saviour Jesus Christ.

We all have strong holds that we have to tear down. Pride is just about in everyone and it is a demon. So things like fear, lust, greed, laziness etc. they are also demons. Long story short I use to see demons of pride and judging in just about everybody I met, for about ten years, then another ten years I would react to people as if I saw them. I had a severe breakdown from it and also suffered social phobias because of it, for about forty years. I know people will have difficulty believing it, but there is a gift called discerning of the spirits and it cost me. There was a reason why God gave me that gift, which was to expiate sins of judging and pride. Protestants tend not to believe we can expiate sins on behalf of others, but if you read Sr. Josefa Menendez book “The way of Divine Love” from Tans publication, you will find she was a Sacred Heart nun, who was sent to hell many times to expiate sins for others. She was what Catholics call a victim soul. The book is very inspiring and as I read it I felt grace coming to me in abundance. So it is another book I would love you to read, it gives you courage to carry your cross.

We all have fallen short of Gods glory and we have been given weapons to deal with this problem. I wish churches were more open to teaching how to deliver people from bondage. I feel the church has failed us in many ways, because they are not teaching us, or encouraging us in most churches to use the spiritually gifts of God. Some people don’t want demons to be cast out of them, because they are afraid of them. They don’t realise demons are afraid of us more so, if we know who we are in Christ Jesus and know the power and authority God has given us. The more we practise self-deliverance the more confident we become in our authority.

Declaring and decreeing positively over ourselves is important. We pray over our problem first and then we decree it into existence. We have to get into the habit, because too many of us, including myself decree the negative and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. There is power in the tongue and also the way we think we become. It is not easy changing a life time habit, but we must persist and remember we are overcomers in Jesus Christ.

Many are called to be Martyrs

After years of complaining about my exhaustion through suffering from insomnia, God told me to stop complaining. God said, before I was conceived I pleaded with Him to be a martyr. Why I am brining this up, we don’t know what we signed up for, before entering into this world. Many of us blame God when we shouldn’t. Many are called to be end times martyrs for the salvations of souls and purify and advancing our souls in the kingdom. Many too will escape and go to safe havens that are currently being set up for those days. I believe we are very near to those days of persecution. I also was complaining to God another time that everything I did was worth nothing. Even if I was beheaded it would be nothing. God quickly revealed Himself to me and said to die for Him was the greatest sacrifice you could give Him. I can’t remember the exact words, because it happen decades ago. The honour God will give those who are willing to suffer for Him and die a cruel death would be so beyond our imagination. God always out does us in generosity.

If you read Christian history, when we are being persecuted, so as to reduce our numbers, the opposite happens. More and more people come to Christ in persecution than at any other time. Peace time we become lukewarm and stray from the absolute truth of the bible. If we read our bibles in the book of Revelations, tells us that the persecution in the end times will be like no other time in history. So can you imagine it will also be the greatest time in history for conversions to Christ as well. Satan has already lost the war, but he is trying to lose as many souls as possible before Christ comes.

I believe the ones that are called to be Martyrs have agreed to it either in this life or before conception took place. I know when I agreed on it, Jesus appeared so happy that He was looking at something that I couldn’t see, but I believe it was all the people He would save if I went ahead with it. I said to God I know I offered, but did you have to take my word up on it. So be warned don’t agree on it unless you really know what it is you are agreeing to, because God will take you up on it.

If you are called don’t worry, God will give you the grace if you keep your eyes on Him and not on yourself and your circumstances. I believe we all should be praying now earnestly without ceasing to be faithful to God and our calling, whatever that may be. We are weak by nature and we can only become strong through the merits of Jesus Christ. Praying and fasting is so important and especially now. Meditating on Christ sufferings and Resurrection is a treasure. It gives you strength when we meditate on what Jesus suffered for us. I believe it will give you courage and strengthen your love for Him. Therefore gives you endurance to finish the race. If you give into self-pity, that weakens you no end. You hear people say stand on His promises, which is perfect advice, but also look at what He was prepared to suffer for you, so that you will want to return the favour out of love for Him. Pray without ceasing, won’t be an option. You will have to do it, to keep your faith strong enough to finish the race, in God’s grace. God won’t leave us helpless or orphans.

Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Isaiah 40:29. He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength.

Witches and Warlocks in Churches

Many witches and warlocks enter in the churches deceiving most good well-meaning Christians. I have been to two churches that this was so. Once church the pastor himself was a warlock. I know first-hand, he put a few spells on me and the other church I attended the warlocks that went to that church were highly respected by everybody including the pastor of that church. I knew it was no use warning anybody, because these two warlocks were so popular, everybody would have thought I was just mean or crazy. They had great influence on the people.

It is important to pray for discernment for yourself and for the church you belong to. The devil has his finger into everything and everywhere. And if you are claiming your church isn’t in danger of having any of them, then it is either of two things. One. Your church is diligently praying for protection from deception and living a true holy life of God, or secondly it is no threat to Satan. So he doesn’t have to send anybody over there to steal souls away from God.

This might sound far fetch to many of you, but I remember reading an article from a prophetess by the name of Maria Divine Mercy that Satan’s worshipers are multiply quicker than ants and that prophesy was in 2012. If you can believe that and I do, then there is no surprise that they are everywhere doing the will of Satan. And most Christians are asleep to it. Most people, lovely as they are, are not studying their bibles and learning how to discern. They are not even aware how serious this war is. The bible warns in the end times many will be deceived and they are now. Jesus said my people perish for lack of knowledge.

I get surprised that not many Christians are even interested in what Gods prophets of today are saying. That amazes me. We are living in dangerous times, and you would think we all look to God to help in these times. People rely too much on their own so called strength and wisdom instead of leaning on God and asking Him for direction, protection and help.

Proverbs 3: 5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

Too many people are not seeking Gods will, but their own.
